    2004 Infiniti QX56 - 4x4

    Pros: its distinguish exterior look

    Cons: rattling noise within car

Advice: Definite a good contender but ride quality is your number 1, than consider something else

I personally own the car and love it for it big size. The ride qualify is not as smooth for a luxury suv because of its hard suspension but it handles well. The only complain I have with the car is the rattling noise inside the car from the 3rd row handles to open and close.

    2005 Infiniti FX35 - 4x2

Pros: The look and the navigational system.. It looks like a sports car and handles like one.

Cons: The leather seats do not breathe.

Advice: Get all the options available if you are going to keep it for 3 or more years. I wish I had gotten the iPod connnector

I love my FX35. I have owned two. I was the first to purchased a 2003 in Las Vegas. The '05 is much better. Very sleek, fast and handles well. Always a head turner. However, the '05 is not as good on gas as the '03. Maximum city mileage is 15.7 miles with all the optimum factors in place. And the headlights are not as bright. but the '05, has fewer bugs. I do wish they would offer cooling seats just like they offer the heated seats. In the desert, the cool seats would make a differene. Small details like having all buttons lit would be nice and the all around camera should be a winner in the 2008. Personally, the smaller '08 does not appeal to me.

    2004 Infiniti QX56 - 4x2

Pros: Comfortable and quiet still at 100,000

    Cons: The temperature control buttons

    Advice: Buy it

I have just reached 100,000 miles on my Qx56, and other than the brake issue that resolved early, this has been the most reliable and most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned. Other than normal oil changes etc. I have not had one problem. I live in Minn. and this will go through the worst weather with ease.

    2006 Infiniti QX56 - 4x4

Pros: Performance, room, price, a lot of standard goodies, great third row seating

Cons: No auto lock, more wood , locking fuel cap

Advice: Great SUV for the money if you are looking for a lot of room and the best tow this is it

The Best SUV for the price. Before I decided I test drove the 07 Escalade , GL450, 06 Navigator, and Lexus LX470. Escalade -- GM did a good job on the new model, but the third seat was horrible also no real wood and no auto windows, cheap plastics and carpet for the price --not worth the almost 20k over the QX GL450- great engineering, not enough room, everything extra, NO leather- you have to pay $1,600 extra. To get the same options as the QX it will cost around 72k. Too much for a first year car.. Navigator--nice but after driving it for a day the QX felt better with more low end power and better handling, also the navigation was a pain( the screen was smaller as well) and finally- what's with the fake aluminum look on the dash for 67k they can’t afford the real thing? LX470--was my last test, after driving all the others I can honestly say that I would never buy the LX-- No power - compare with the others, unusable third seat ( even my kids didn’t' like sitting back there) they also do not fold flat, the ride felt like i was driving an electric car.. As far as looks--it seems that it came back from the 60's. I did like the interior but for the price it did not even make the list. I really do not understand all the good reviews that this SUV gets from all the 'experts'.

    2005 Infiniti FX45 - Base

    Pros: love 'em all

    Cons: bumpy ride

Advice: drive it like you stole it!

I love the way the FX45 looks coming down the road, super sexy. The performance is impeccable. My FX45 has all the bells and whistles, and they are great, somewhat intuitive though I've had to pull out the manual a few times (there are 4 -5 of them!) The ride is a bit jarring, you definitely feel every bump in the road. I'll sacrifice comfort for the safety, speed, and cool points!

    2006 Infiniti QX56 - 4x2

    Pros: Theater system

Cons: nissan's navigation system - horrible - Lexus seems to have all others beat.

Advice: Great vehicle - also look at Lexus LX470 though this one is larger - handles snow great but I haven't had it back to west virginia

This is a large, comfortable people mover. The vehicle is finished nicely, great paint, great comfort inside. This vehicle handles like a truck - remember this is a very large SUV it's not going to handle like a MB S Class. This is the worst navigation system that I have ever had. It's slow, no touch screen and data input is a task. The theater system is great, but to be honest never use it - I have no children. If I did - they better love it for the price Infiniti charges. All in all - nice vehicle, great for long trips.

    2005 Infiniti QX56 - 4x2

Pros: Space! Leather seats are really nice too.

    Cons: The mileage

Advice: Be ready to spend money on gas.

I feel great in it, I love the attention I get from other mothers driving SUV's. I am sure they wish they where driving my car instead! I love its appearance, the way it drives, how fast it speeds up, in short this is definetely in my 'I wish I was driving this car sooner' list.
