2007 Infiniti M45 - Sport
Pros: love every thing as long as your driving during the day light hours
Cons: high beams are focused so high that they do not illuminate the road
Advice: beware of safety issueEvery thing that you have read about this car is true (its great), its hard to believe anyone being disappointed with the M45 Sport. However if you drive this car on the highway at night you need to know that the design if the headlights is faulty. The high beams are focused so high that they do not illuminate the road in front of the car at all. There is a single adjust for both high and low beam lights so if you take your car to the dealer they will misalign the low beam focus if you complain of the faulty high beams. I drive 70 miles at night on a desert highway to work daily, if you diver you M45 in town this will not be an issue, if safe night time driving is a concern to you beware!
2006 Infiniti G35 - (A5) Coupe
Advice: Avoid.I purchased a brand new g35 coupe in March of 2003. Let me tell you, this car has been nothing but a headache since I purchased it. First and foremost, the brake pads need to be replaced every 15000 miles (infiniti covers the first 36000 miles then expect to pay to replace the pads) and generate immense brake dust. In addition, the rotors also go bad after 36000 miles, and expect to pay for that as well. Secondly, if you opt for 19 inch rims and tires, expect to replace your tires every 12,000-15,000 miles (at a cost of $300 per tire). Thirdly, the driver door lock went bad under warranty, which the dealer replaced. 3 months later the passenger door lock went bad, the warranty expired on March 26, 2007 and the door lock went bad on April 12, 2007 and they refused to address it. So now I have to repair the lock at an expense of $440. Infiniti also recalled the car and replaced the fuel line. This is all after I have taken terrific care of this car. It has had an oil change every 3500 miles. All services and repairs have been done through Infiniti in a timely fashion, and this is how they repay their loyal customers. If you value your money and time, I highly recommend that you go to another brand of vehicle. Believe me, I will never buy another Infiniti again, and I would recommend that you avoid my mistakes.
2004 Infiniti QX56 - 4x2
Pros: Comfortable and quiet still at 100,000
Cons: The temperature control buttons
Advice: Buy itI have just reached 100,000 miles on my Qx56, and other than the brake issue that resolved early, this has been the most reliable and most comfortable vehicle I've ever owned. Other than normal oil changes etc. I have not had one problem. I live in Minn. and this will go through the worst weather with ease.
2003 Infiniti G35 - w/Leather (A5) Coupe
Pros: comfortable seats
Cons: none stop problems...always in the shop
Advice: check vechile history at infiniti dealer before you buy the car!!!!bad brakes, bad paint, electrical problems.....
2007 Infiniti M35x - Base
Pros: Navigation, rear view camera, acceleration
Cons: Voice control is not accurate
Advice: Don't get lured into buying brand names like Lexus and BMW.My wife wanted a luxury car but I wanted a sportier drive, when we test drove the M35, we both agreed that this was the ONE. BMW 5s has such a stiff old fashion interior with anemic power when compared this M and cost more! We ended up with a M35x with a premium package (still cheaper than the 5s), all my passengers were impressed with the roomy interior and I was just thrilled when I reached 120km/h before I reached the end of entry ramps.
2005 Infiniti Q45 - Base
Cons: 5-speed transmission vs. 6 or 7 speed in others
Advice: Try it - you'll love it.Extremely quiet and responsive. Premium Package adds some great features like laser guided cruise control, reclining rear seats & rear seat climate and sound system control. Best car in its class for quality, value and performance.
2002 Infiniti Q45 - Base
Pros: Motor performance
Cons: Electical system
Advice: Don't buytFor a luxury auto , this car is a disappontment . The sensor light on the wheel for showing 'flat ' comes on and the dealer has never been able to fix it. In addtion shortly after the 60,000 mile guarantee was up , the sturts on the trunk wore out, the ignition switch was faulty and now it needs a new starter . Further the motor for the window on the drivers side is faulty and needs repalcement . Worse , when you take the car in for repairs many of the parts are on 'back order.' After this expierience , I question the quality of any Infiniti product.
