The Infiniti G37 Coupe stands as a counterpoint to the Euro-dominated, mid-size two-door luxury car segment. The Infiniti G37 Coupe emphasizes both style and technology and it also delivers competent performance thanks to the attention paid to its engine and chassis package by Nissan engineers. The G37 Coupe's list of safety equipment includes front seat-mounted side airbags, forward airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags, on top of standard electronic stability and traction control.
The Infiniti G37 Coupe comes with a single engine option, a 330 horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 that also provides 270 lb-ft of torque. Although the two-door is outfitted with a seven-speed automatic transmission by default, buyers can select a six-speed manual unit in its place. All-wheel drive is also available with the G Coupe, and fuel mileage shows as 19-mpg in stop and go driving and 27-mpg on the highway.
Entry-level editions of the G37 Coupe (MSRP $37,800) offer 18-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, automatic climate control, power leather seats, a CD player, satellite radio, and HID headlights. Moving up to the Journey trim (MSRP $39,250) brings with it dual automatic climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview camera, and heated exterior mirrors. The G37 Sport (MSRP $44,200) includes the contents of all of the options packages listed below, with the exception of the Technology package.
Infiniti provides a Premium package that can add a sunroof, Bose sound system, and parking assistance to the G37 Coupe, along with a Navigation package that features a touchscreen nav system that also responds to voice controls. Additional performance can be had by way of the Sport package, which installs 19-inch wheels, a limited-slip rear differential, sport seats, a stiffer suspension system, quicker steering, and better brakes, while the Technology package includes automatic wipers, adaptive cruise control, and an air purifier for the vehicle's climate control system.
