Pros: love 'em all
Cons: bumpy ride
Advice: drive it like you stole it!I love the way the FX45 looks coming down the road, super sexy. The performance is impeccable. My FX45 has all the bells and whistles, and they are great, somewhat intuitive though I've had to pull out the manual a few times (there are 4 -5 of them!) The ride is a bit jarring, you definitely feel every bump in the road. I'll sacrifice comfort for the safety, speed, and cool points!
Pros: Platform - handles like it's on rails; Design - like nothing else out there.
Cons: Rear cupholders are small
Advice: Evaluate what attributes you are looking for in your next car - the FX is more sportier than anything else.Is this really a SUV? It handles like a sports car. I have to admit, when the conditions are right, I'm a spirited driver. All my previous vehicles were sports cars not to mention I track a sport bike. The next car for me was a family car since we have 2 dogs. I wasn't ready to jump on the SUV bandwagon since typical SUVs don't fit my lifestyle at the moment. I rarely go to the snow so I don't all the hardcore 4x4 attributes in my car. The FX is a good cross between a sports car and SUV; however, I think it's more sport being the platform built on. Why I decided on the FX: -I do 99.9% of my driving on asphalt (not off-road or in the snow). -AWD safety especially in wet winters -I'm a spirited driver; when the conditions are SAFE, I enjoy the quick accelertion, crisp handling, amazing sound from the 4.5 liter V8. -Utility: a 315hp sports car that carries everything we buy from Home Depot, Safeway, and Target! -Value: has all the options we want at same price as Lexus
Advice: The 45's are harder to find...but so worth the looking! Incredible power/punch left when 80+ MPH.I did not have car-hunger when I went to buy a car. I saw the Fx45 and thought 'wow!' I drove it, loved it...but did not buy it. Over the next few weeks, I test drove the BMW, Mercedes, Range Rover, Lexus, Tahoe/Yukon, Cayenne and the Toureg...but nothing compared. I went back and bought the Fx45. Fast, gutsy and handles like it's on a rail. The others weren't close to the performance of this vehicle! The interior is superb! Navigation system is 2nd only to the Lexus system. Rear camera is excellent feature! Very high quality feel to all components.
Cons: limited sight in rear veiw when backing up (can easily be fixed with sensors)
Advice: You have to check this car out!!!This car rocks....ive had my ivory pearl FX45 AWD for a year now and i still like it a lot. I put in the tech package ...this is a great car because of its sporty feel and bold looks...its not a car that will blend in with all the others. The only thing that was that the sight was limited in the rear...but with the camera and the sensors i had installed it makes it very easy. I am happy with my purchase
Pros: Styling inside out
Cons: Cant think of one
Advice: Buy it unless you want the Lexus Hybrid SUVThis has been the best vehicle I've owned. It's not the best financial decision I've made, because I did dump $50,000+ on it. It's fun to drive, it's like sports car, it's high quality, real quiet interior, and so much praise for Infiniti! I've always thought that Infiniti's were imitation luxury cars, but no, they really aren't. My daughter said a few years ago about her G35 or whatever and I drove it and it was really nice, and I looked into the Infinitis since then. The styling is very unique, in a good way. It stand out from the blandness. Also I like the navigation system, which has a bird's eye view. I do not regret buying this car, and if you are lookin for a luxury suv, look into the Infiniti. I wish they made a hybrid for this like the Lexus LX400H because the gas mileage is kind of bad-14.5mpg.
Pros: Looks and 4wd availability
Cons: Seat a tad small for my large frame
Advice: If you like it when you see it, you'll love it when you own it.I saw a bad review where the guy complained about the ride and looks and I have to respond. Duh, if you drove it and looked at it you got what you saw. It's a great SUV for someone who simply needs some room and 4wd but want something larger than a sedan and as sporty as most sports cars. The 20' rides a little rough, but no worse than SUV's I've owned. It is quickand 'unique' looking. You either love it or hate it. I love it and don't really buy cars based on what my friends like. Most of them are in Kia's anyway, what do they know.
