    2004 Infiniti FX35 - AWD

Pros: basically everything, especially the seats with the lumbar support.

Cons: found nothing I did not like, but of course I only had it for a few days.

Advice: Rent one or see if a dealer will allow you to use the Infiniti for a weekend, then decide if it is for you.

Altho the Infiniti I drove was a rental car for a weekend, I loved everything about it. At first glance, I thought oh my gosh...I'm not sure I can handle that as I hadn't driven any type of SUV in many yrs. I have to admit I was quite wrong about that assumption. It was a wonderful ride...and I ended up being very comfortable behind the wheel. I have considered buying a PT Cruiser on my next vehicle purchase, but now I do have a rather difficult decision to make.

    2004 Infiniti FX35 - 4x2

    Pros: Styling

    Cons: Cruise Control

Advice: Look for a car with a working cruise control.

I recently purchased a new 2004 Infiniti FX35 vehicle and I wish to inform you of a very dangerous flaw with the cruise control. I experienced the vehicle going 20 mph over the set speed and accelerating. You can easily duplicate the situation via the following steps: 1. set a cruise speed to the speed limit at the top of a hill. 2. then just hang on. How fast will it go? How steep and long is the hill? Typically with all the cruise controls I have previously used, the driver would shift into a lower gear at the top of a hill. Then engine braking would slow the vehicle to below the set speed and the cruise control would supply a slight amount of power to maintain the set speed. The Infiniti doesn’t allow the vehicle to remain in cruise control after shifting to a lower gear. To remain in cruse control the Infiniti REQUIRES that the driver maintains the vehicle in Drive. This would be acceptable if the vehicle automatically downshifted for the driver, but it doesn’t.

    2003 Infiniti FX35 - 4x2

    Pros: style

    Cons: suspension, a little rough

Advice: If you like being unique, this is the car for you.

I love my Infiniti FX35. It has been a joy to drive. I have had to adjust to the sports car ride (feel the bumps); but on a smooth surface, it just glides along. I like the snug driver seating. It appears to mold to my body. I am especially attracted to the body style. You have to be on top of the other SUV's to determine which is which, because they are so similar in body style. The Infiniti is unique. If offers all that I need, 1) great performance, 2) style, and decent pricing.

    2003 Infiniti FX35 - 4x2

    Pros: Interior, controls and engine.

    Cons: I like it all.

    Advice: BUY IT!

I was one the first to buy an FX35 over a year ago in Dallas, TX. I have never had so many people stare at my car and they still do. This is one the most rewarding cars I have ever owned. And I have owned many...BMW, Lexus, Cadillac, etc. I am very satisfied with this car and I can not see myself driving anything else for the next few years. I think I found my soulmate.

    2004 Infiniti FX35 - AWD

    Pros: Handling

    Cons: Storage areas

Advice: If you want an SUV that's heavy on the S...this is it.

I wanted a sporty car that was fun to drive to replace my Integra GSR. My wife wanted a larger vehicle for the family that had top notch safety and luxury. I won't drive a truck. This was the perfect compromise. Fast, fun, safe, large (enough with 2 kids), AWD.

    2004 Infiniti FX35 - AWD

    Pros: It's a Infiniti

Cons: No running boards, no trailer hitch, very uncomfortable!

Advice: Look for something other than this Infiniti.

The Infiniti fx35 should be reclassified as sport sedan with big wheels rather than a SUV. The offroad capabilites are useless, I kept getting the wheels stuck in mud by my driveway. This appearance of this vehicle reminds me of a Volkswagon Toureg. This is a very uncomfortable ride, have they ever heard of shocks?

    2004 Infiniti FX35 - 4x2

    Pros: Manual Shift

    Cons: Ride is alittle stiff

    Advice: Buy It!

We test drove a Lexus RX330 and a BMW X5 and decided on the Infinity FX 35. The Looks, The performance had every thing we wanted. We did sacrifice a little comfort, but for us it was worth it!
