    2002 Hyundai XG350 - L

Pros: Heated seat warms not only your ass, but your back, too. Memory seats control the rear mirror with your seat. you will see these features on Lexus or above.

    Cons: I don't know

Advice: Buy L version. You already saved A LOT for buying this car, so don't cut your budget here. You get the best heated seat and fastest controlled sunroof on the market.

I personally think this car is too cheap for what it is. Definately it worth the price. You will get much more than what you pay for it. May be Toyota Avalon or Acura TL are a little bit better, but they are way over expensive. I just don't know what you would think of it when you drive this car. Just do a test drive in the nearest dealershop. You will feel like you are in a Lexus. I really love it.

    2002 Hyundai XG350 - L

    Pros: Loaded Standard Features

Cons: In the shop more than 40 days of first 120 days of ownership.

Advice: Go for a carmaker with a reputation at stake, like Honda or Toyota.

The Test Drive was great. But beware of buying a car just because of the Test Drive. I had my vehicle in the shop for warranty work for more than 1.5 months during the first four months of ownership. I have had it in several other times between then and now. Hyundai will NOT work with you if you have a Lemon. Be ready to fight it in court or live with a car which is in the shop every 2-3 months. I'm not exagerrating. Perhaps other carmakers sell a lemon now and then, but I can guarantee you Hyundai will fight you tooth and nail if you buy one from them. Go for a carmaker with a reputation at stake, like Honda or Toyota.

    Pros: space

    Cons: noise

    Advice: don't do it.

I test drove the XG350L and there was so much engine noise I turned around and took it back to the salesman. He got another which was a little bit better but still noisey. He told me that it might take a little bit before it warms up and quiets down. I walked away. Also, I got the impression that it was a cheap imitation and that the quality was poor.

    2002 Hyundai XG350 - L

    Pros: Smooth

Cons: Too much engine torque on takeoff. You have to press the accelerator with care or suffer the consequences of replacing front tires earlier than expected.

    Advice: Test drive the XG350L

Before going to the Hyundai dealership, we tested the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and VW Passat. At the Hyundai dealer, we looked at the Sonata and the Santa Fe, but after test driving the XG350L, and after comparing it feature for feature and price against the other cars we tested, we had to buy the XG350L. This was an excellent car for the money !!

    2002 Hyundai XG350 - L

Pros: memory setting for the husband and wife as it relates to the seat

    Cons: poor shifting response

Advice: Make sure you buy the car for at least $5500 under retail

The car still feels like shifting when it doesn't have to. I recognize that the car has no cables from pedal to engine. The response should be more refined. There is some wind noise and the michelin tires should be 17inch for the weight of the car. How can a 3600 lb. car have the same tire size as the Sonata at 400 lbs less. The engine has sufficient power, but has to be reprogrammed to push it. Materials used in the car have a quality feel to them. The car needs: 17' rims, daytime running lights, when door is unlocked the interior lights should come on for safety, third stop light should pulse, and the sterio needs more dynamic sound.
