Excellent small suv
Pros: Heated leather seats
Cons: NoiseVery dependable, not very comfortable on long drives. good looks, fun to drive.
smartest investment ever
Pros: The cruise control is my favorite feature
Cons: sterio systemThe car is easy on the rear end for long trips.Gets great gas mileage in town and on highway I always use cruise control.
Cons: front seats are too close to dashGood economy, dependable, looks nice, low upkeep, runs good.
Pros: the car seat is very high
Cons: not enough of sound proof meterialI bought this car new after I notice that this vehicle was very noise in the cabin every sound that this suv make is heard and that is only problem .
Pros: Airbags and overall safety features
Cons: It's Mileage absolutely SUCKS!!!
Advice: STAY AWAY, buy a Chevy Tahoe it has more power, same mileage, more useable.Bought this thing to save mileage. We had a 2001 Chev. Tahoe but wanted to save fuel. Well, if fuel is what you are after stay away from the Tucson. We were told it gets 24 mpg on the hwy and 19 city. We get 12 in the city and 18 on the highway. If we are pushing the wind it goes to 14mpg on the highway. This is a 6 cylinder and it sucks. We have brought it in several times to be looked at and always get the usual runaround. We got ripped-off!! We should have kept the Tahoe. It got better all around mileage! PS...stay away from Mckie Auto Group in Rapid City!
Pros: ride and safety features
Cons: roof-rack which was optionally equiped. not worth 200.00 to me
Advice: honda crv a great vehicle but design not equal to tucson. ford escape a bit frumpyconsidered honda crv and ford escape, but good reviews and sleek appearance drove my decision.
Pros: Quality of workmanship, seats, clear and easy to read gages, standard options that everyone else wants you to pay for.
Cons: Windshield wipers met in the middle of the drivers view and can leave a line that can be hard to see threw. Arm rest to short, needs to be longer.
Advice: BUY IT... I test drove the Mazda Tribute first and bought the Hynudai Tucson, that should say it all.I purchased my 05 Silver 2WD GLS Tucson over one year ago and still love it. I looked for about 6 months before deciding to buy it. I read the other reviews and agree with all of them in that the 'TUCSON' is the very best buy for the buck. You can not beat the warranty, comfort standard options and cargo space. I have been averaging 20-21 MPH between city/highway driving. I know that others have said 17, so I do not know what they are driving but considering that this is a V-6 Automatic, I do not see any of the other SUV's matching this in the V-6 class. The arm rest is the only bad thing for it is way to short for individuals who need to move the seat all the way up, but everything else is just right for me. I bought my Tucson for me but my wife fell in love with it and is know thinking about trading in her truck for a Tucson too.
