Pros: sound system and v-6 power
Advice: get one now hot for the moneywow super sport coupe with shark power love this car
Pros: Shiftron Transmission
Cons: Lack of seat adjustment
Advice: Great value!Drives smooth. Great acceleration and I love the shiftron option. Makes driving the Tib fun.
Cons: No subwoofer availible in the S.E. GT
Advice: Buy a Hyundai before they realize they could charge moreI used to be a Toyota and Honda guy but after getting firmiliar with the Hyundai tiburon and it's value, their is no comparison.
Pros: Infinity Sound System
Cons: No trunk pop button on the keyless entry remote.
Advice: Try to shop around, don't impulse buy.Overall, this car is not a bad choice. There are a few things that are dissappointing: shredded tire at 13,000 miles, transmission fluid leaking at 26,000 miles. But hey what car doesn't have problems.
Pros: it looks awesome, handles great and has a killer stock stereo
Cons: not very good quality
Advice: get one that has been taken care of, mine wasn't and it has a few issues.Well I was looking for a sport compact that was newer and looked good. I had in mind a Celica, Tiburon or RSX. I never drove the Celica, I did drive the RSX, I hated how it felt not very stable and had no low end power. The Tiburon looks the best out of them all, I love the twin exhaust and the little shark gills in front of the doors. The car ran all right, but for the price it was worth it. A lot of people think of performance as how fast it is, the Tiburon is fast, more power than I need, but it also handles awesome and has great wet weather traction, (I used to drive a '96 240sx so if I can say a Tiburon handles good, then it does). Gas milage is good, I get about 23 in the city and about 25 on the highway (mines a 6 speed). The stereo is stock and very nice and it looks good inside and out, not cheap looking at all, the only thing I hate about it is that like most Hyundais, it's just not built like a Toyota or Honda. I have to repair little things on it quite often. Nothing serious, but other than that, it's an awesome car.
Pros: Styling, I believe it was modeled after the Maranello
Cons: Slightly sore rear after long drives.
Advice: research what your getting (options) vs. the other auto makersLooked at the Toyota Celica GTS and the Acura RSX. Have owned several Acura models and an older Toyota GTS which are both good vehicles. Am a little bias when it comes to Acura/Honda, but when I first saw the Tiburon I wondered who made it. When I discovered it was Hyundai I was surprised. Test drove the car and was very pleased with the performance, styling etc. I have owned my Tiburon for just over a year now. No problems of any kind. I have the auto w/shiftronic and love it. 17' wheels w/michelin pilot radials. I'm 6'2' and can enter/exit with no problems. Dollar for dollar it's the best sporty car for your buck.
Pros: Warranty, Design, Quality, Handling, Price, Features
Cons: 172HP, Interior a bit tight
Advice: Drive it first, it's a great car, power could be better but all around it's a cool car.My test drive was extensive. The salesman I had pretty much let me really wind this thing up. On the highway I opened up and was amazed at how much power 172HP can be when in the rite chassis. Handling was spot on making lane changes a breeze. On windy roads it had a bit of body roll but it stuck nicely. After a good 20 min. test drive I was convinced the car had what it's looks were insisting. It's a good looking well balanced car at the rite price.
