    2007 Hyundai Sonata

First New Car in 22 Years.

    Pros: Miles per gallon.

    Cons: The tilt steering wheel.

This is the first car I have bought in 22 years, and a lot has changed. Changed for the better that is. This is a very good car. I like it very much, but since I have other vehicles, I have only driven it 3000 miles in the 3 years I have had it. I really only have 2 complaints. One is the tilt steering wheel is useless to me, since it does not telescope, and blocks the speedometer if I tilt it where I would like it to be. My second complaint is the center driver's arm rest, as it is too far back to rest your arm and still keep your hand on the steering wheel.

    2007 Hyundai Sonata - GLS w/XM (M5)

    Pros: Gas Mileage

    Cons: Tires and rims

Advice: Do your homework? Check consumer ratings. GM did not do well.

After a month of driving it is a great second car. Takes long trips well and is very comfortable for a small family. Plenty of trunk space. Smooth ride and reasonable acceleration for a 4 cylinder. I would buy another one.

    2007 Hyundai Sonata - Limited w/XM (A5)

Pros: Heated leather seats when its cold out.

Cons: That I bought used and not new in 07.

    Advice: Due your research

This is a great car for the price. I work on used cars at a dealer for a living, so I get to test them all and I might say that this car picks up speed real good. The style of the car still looks like a brand new one today. We just bought it and we love. I would highly recommend this car to family and friends

    2007 Hyundai Sonata - GLS w/XM (M5)

Pros: All safety features standard -- antilock brakes, electronic stability control, and full suite of airbags

Cons: Sun visors (driver and front passenger)

Advice: The 4-cylinder is more than sufficient for most family settings, especially with teen drivers in the house. But, if you simply need higher performance, check the 6-cylinder. The extra 2 cylinders cost an extra $1500-$2000.

Have 4-cylinder GLS. Acceleration - good to excellent. Handling - excellent. Standard safety features - outstanding and without peer. Comfort - excellent to outstanding. Gas mileage, including significant city driving - 25.2 MPG across full spectrum of driving. Highway gas mileage (after several hundred miles of pure highway driving) - 30.7 MPG. Interior noise - quiet. Ride is SMOOTH. Warranty - best around. Overall FANTASTIC VALUE.
