    2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

No Wonder Hyundai sales are soaring

    Pros: dual zone climate control

Cons: mileage about 21.3 mpg average

I'm seeing more and more Santa Fe SUV's on the road these days and no wonder. They look great, drive great, have the best Warranty in America, are loaded with features such as 4 wheel ABS brakes with traction control, electronic stability control, heated leather seats sunroofs(option) dual zone climate control (the wife loves this feature) tilt steering powerful V6 engines, split fold flat rear seats with extra storage in the back, remote power outlets in the back just to name a few. Ive owned two of them a 2007 and a 2008 and I wouldn't trade it for any other SUV in its class and I tested many. Did I mention 5 years courtesy roadside assistance? Ask Toyota if they give you that. Just drive one and you'll be the next thrilled Santa Fe owner.

Advice: Definitely test drive before buying another brand.

Very nice vehicle. The ride is a bit firm but not bad. Great vehicle for the price. Watch out Honda and Toyota, Hyundai is moving up fast.

2008 Hyundai Santa Fe - Limited (A5) FWD

Pros: Mileage and power balance, just right!

    Cons: nothing

Advice: Test drive it before you make your final decision, it will be worth it.

I got rid of a tire eating, gas guzzling Touareg for a new 2008 Santa Fe. It has a great combination of features, looks, performance, fuel economy and price. Pounds per HP are fewer than my V8 Touareg; both cars are plenty quick yet the Santa Fe easily gets 10MPG better at all times. I drove and hour home from San Jose and got 27MPG, going 70+ MPH. Nice!!! I figured I'd be saving about $1300 per year in gas alone!! The safety features are great; I'm glad my family is in this vehicle.

2008 Hyundai Santa Fe - Limited (A5) FWD

    Pros: superb ride

    Cons: loose steering

Advice: Get the 18' wheels, sun roof and Infinity Stereo...Well worth the extra $$$$

I traded in a 2002 BMW 530i for this vehicle, so I had a lot of expectations and was very cautious. Guess what? I certainly have not been disappointed. I looked at and drove them all from the X5 to the Murano. This is the best vehicle in it's class for the money by FAR. It is quiet (I commute 38 miles each way) the steering is a little 'loose' compared to the 530, but hey I can handle $20K worth of loose steering. But it handles very well. Like all of the reviews, the seats are a little short for me, but I'm not Korean either. My wife is 5'-3' and loves them. Overall awesome vehicle and highly recommend it.
