    2009 Hyundai Genesis

    Great Performance Car

Pros: The electronics in the compartment

    Cons: The suspension

Great performance for the price (V8) Suspension is not even close to my 96 Mark VIII air ride with stability control. When going into corners to fast you need to pay attention their is no compensation like in the Mark VII. Really my only compliant.

    2010 Hyundai Genesis - 3.8

    Pros: Drivetrain

Cons: Contemporary but anonymous front end

Advice: Shop around, but don't overlook the Genesis

Former owner of 4 Hondas and most recently an Acura TL, all fine vehicles, particularly the TL. However, after seeing and driving the Hyundai Genesis 3.8, I have become a believer! Material quality, fit are first class. The double overhead cam V-6 and 6 speed transmission provide extremely smooth and amble power. The comfortable but firm suspension provides sporty and balanced handling and ride. The audio system is simply the best I have heard in a motor vehicle. The Genesis has every convenience you can think of to make your trip enjoyable, except perhaps paddle shifters if you are looking for them. The vehicle has been averaging 22 mpg during the first two thousand miles in mostly mixed city driving. The only thing lacking is name recognition in this car class. But hey, who cares, enjoy the ride! Even that will come if they keep making automobiles like the Genesis!

    2009 Hyundai Azera - Limited

Pros: body style and black exterior with chocolate brown leather seats

Cons: controls for radio on steering wheel are easily hit with hand while driving

Advice: Must especially see car and then test drive

Smooth, roomy seating, comfortable ride...easy U-turns (small radius)...heated seats are especially soothing (because I have a lower back problem), beautiful style car, excellent safety features

    2010 Hyundai Azera - Limited

    Pros: All over

    Cons: Road noise

    Advice: Buy it!!

I purchased a 2008 Azera Limited with a little over 11,000 miles. It must be the best kept secret in cars today! What a car for the money. Luxury, convience, style, and performance, with a combination of over 20 MPG. city & highway. A touch more road noise than I would like, but other than that, perfect! It is a 2008 Used AZERA, not 2010

    2009 Hyundai Genesis - 4.6

    Pros: Smooth flow of power

Cons: Dunlop Tires to much road feel and balance problems

Advice: read all the customer reviews on WWW

After 1500 miles the transmission started having abnormal metallic slapping and clunking noises. The dealer and the factory tech do not know whats wrong. They road tested a new car and told me this is normal for rear drive cars.No other opinions allowed. After four return visits I found out what they already knew and where not truthful about. There are no parts or adjustments for this problem.HYUNDAI factory customer service means absolutely nothing even when you do every thing they ask.THIS has been a BIG MISTAKE.This was to be my retirement car.Trading after just two months I would loose$8000.HYUNDAI has made me and my GENSIS AN ORPHAN.

    2009 Hyundai Genesis - 3.8

Pros: The back up camera in the Tech Package

    Cons: no coin holder

Advice: Just take a test drive and compare it to a Lexus, Infiniti or BMW

I was looking for a sedan with some luxury features. So Infiniti, Lexus & BMW were on my list, never a Hyundai. Well, after winning North American Car of the Year, the Genesis got my attention. This car drives like a dream. I know there have been criticism on the suspension, but I haven't found this to be a problem. This car has all the luxury features you would want at a cost of thousands less than the other models I was considering.

    2009 Hyundai Genesis - 4.6

    Pros: engine

Cons: not enough time behind the wheel

Advice: really check out the competition closely and this car will only look better

This is an excellent car. Fit and finish are world class, controls are well placed and easy to use once learned. Engine is a marvel of engineering for it power and economy. You don't even smell any exhaust before the car warms up it so well designed. At speed the car feels solid and very planted and secure. The cabin is airy and quiet with great visibility outside using mirrors or a quick glance. This car is very large, very close dimensionally to Mercedes 600 class interior/exterior dimensions, but a little shorter. You feel very safe behind the wheel. Brakes are very good, the best I have experienced in any car with over 30 years driving different makes. If you’re looking for a sedan with world class features, fit, finish, performance, at a price that is unbeatable, this is your car.
