Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
This is a fantastic luxury car. The burled walnut trim and butter soft premium leather reminds you of the premium trims in the German "Big 3" for thousands less. I traded an Infinity M35X and have not regretted it one little bit. Luxury car buyers, do yourself a favor. Ignore that it is a Hyundai and at least put it on your luxury car evaluation list. Take it for a test drive, and if you want to spend thousands more for a traditional nameplate - its your money.
I bought Genesis over Mercedes E-350. 10k cheaper and a better vehicle. I gave my Mercedes E-320 to my grandson, it was a great car and I have owned BMW -528 and I still have BMW-Z-3 good cars, But the Genesis beats them both for the money and luxury.
The 2015 Hyundai Genesis is an outstanding vehicle with an exceptional value. I've owned the car for a two months and have driven almost 2000 miles. The car is roomy, extreme;y quiet an easy to drive. The Genesis is loaded with features galore including an array of safety features. I've owned
Bought Oct.2011. After testing Mercedes E350 and BMW 5 series drove the GENESIS and wow... Such a wonderful machine.
Being a car shopaholic, I test drove the 2012 Mercedes C250 and E350, the Lexus ES and GS, the BMW 3 and 5 series, Infiniti M, Cadillac, Lincoln, then to the Hyundai jGenesis. I cannot believe the ride, power for a 6 (333 hp), economy and overall comfort that Hyundai builds into this car for the money. Before buying anything, do yourself a favor a drive one. Not to mention the best warranty in the business. The 8 cyl adds about 50 hp, but the 6 does the job. Well satisfied.
excelent road car
Pros: confortable ride
Cons: liked everythingMost quality car ever owned, but think it may have an excelaration problem like toyota.
Hyundai Genesis -- My Favorite Car Ever
Pros: Power Tilt & Telescopic Steering Wheel
Cons: 4-way (only) passenger seatI have owned our 2009 Hyundai Genesis for a bit over 2 years, since purchasing the first one sold in DeKalb County, IL in early July 2008. We have the V6 with the Premium package. To date, it has 30,150 miles and has been 100% trouble-free. The average fuel mileage to date is 24.6 mpg; with a range of 18.1 to 31.2 per fill-up since purchase. It is by far the most comfortable, best handling, and most spacious car I've owned since my 1975 Pontiac Grand Safari station wagon. Passengers in the rear seat frequently comment on how comfortable both the seats and the ride are; many saying that the rear seat of my car is more comfortable than the front of theirs. Performance is outstanding. My wife refers to the car as the 'red rocket'. During a recent vacation, it quietly cruised the 4-lane highways of central TX at an easy 80 - 85 mph. We averaged 29.8 mpg for the entire trip, including considerable local driving along the Texas gulf coast. Having ridden & driven Mercedes, Lexuses, BMWs, and Infinitis, I can honestly say that to get an equal driving experience with those brands requires at least an additional $15 - $20 thousand investment. The Genesis is by far the nicest vehicle I have ever owned.
