The 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6 is Luxurious and Affordable

The 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6 is making a big splash in a very large pool. The ever-growing pool of luxurious entry-level cars is not short on fully-loaded, amenity-laden sedans with quality interiors and zippy performance. Of course, many times these features also come along with a hefty price tag. Not the 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6.

Being in the same class as the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, Acura TSX, Lincoln MKZ, Lexus ES, Infiniti G, Chrysler Sebring, Chevrolet Malibu, Volkswagen Jetta and the Volvo S40, just to name a few, the Hyundai name may seem a little out of place. But after seeing the features and luxurious appointments inside the Hyundai and finding out that the base starting price is around $33,000, you may just change your tune.

Though the styling of the new 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6 isn't all that original, it is impressive when all of the attributes of the car are combined. From the leather and navigation on the inside to the smooth transmission and 306 horsepower engine, this car fits right in alongside those 'big names'.

The new 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6 is equipped with a 3.8 liter V-6 engine with an output of 306 horses and 266 ft. lbs torque. A less powerful model can be purchased, which consists of a 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, though a six-speed automatic transmission is optional on the V-6. Fuel economy for the V-6 comes in at 17 miles per gallon city and 26 miles per gallon highway.

Optional packages for the 2010 Hyundai Genesis V-6 include the Grand Touring and the Track package. The Grand Touring package includes upgrades like Xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, heated side mirrors with turn signals, fog lights, sunroof, leather upholstery, heated seats and an upgraded Infinity audio system. Options include a USB cable and touch screen navigation system with Bluetooth streaming audio and music storage.

All of the Hyundai cars, including the V-6 Genesis, come with a ten year/100,000 mile warranty.
