    2005 Hyundai Elantra - GLS (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Keyless entry;

Cons: Very 'tin' like sound when trunk being closed ; sounds cheap; unsubstantial.

Advice: Ask any owner--haven't heard one with Buyer's remorse yet

Have a 2005.Great mileage; only problem I experienced was with 'rubberized' steering wheel disintegrating---was replaced under warranty without a hassle (they've seen it before)...have 41,000 miles in 28 months. Came loaded with everything I wanted--STANDARD! Love the 100,000 mile 10 year warranty (can't get that on an American car costing 3-4 times the 14K I paid for the Hyundai!

    2005 Hyundai Elantra - GLS (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Peppy,quiet ride

    Cons: Service dept, maybe transmission?

Advice: Check out the dealerships service dept.

Actually purchased an 03 Elantra GLS new, had no problems with the car until a couple months ago, when the transmission began to bang, or hesitate when shifting. One week ago I heard what sounded like an electrical short circuit, and the car almost shut down, then something 'caught', and the car continued to operate. Would like to hear from others who might have experienced this problem. Dealership put it on the diagnostic + said 'nothing wrong'.[I suspect if the warrenty period was over it might be a different story]Actually love the car, nice looking, reliable, nice qiuet smooth ride, + great in the snow + ice, believe it or not!All the amenities except power seats, the Hyundai service department in the dealership I purchased from leaves much to be desired, however...

    2005 Hyundai Elantra - GLS (M5) Sedan

    Pros: All the Features

    Cons: Nothing

Advice: If you are looking to purchase a car, the Hyundai Elantra is a great investment.

As soon as I started the engine (which was extremely quiet) of the Hyundai Elantra GLS, I knew this what what I wanted. Besides that, it has a beautiful interior and features. And the sound system is great.

    2005 Hyundai Elantra - GT (M5) Sedan

Pros: The comfort and the sound system. The gas milage is pretty good too.

    Cons: Nothing I didnt like

Advice: Buy one! You wont be dissapointed. I was weary about Korean cars but they have gotten to be up there with Toyotas and Hondas for less money and a great warrant. You couldnt ask for maore

I thought the drive was very smooth for an economy car. I bought the sedan gt and love the way it hugs corners. I tend to be a little more sporty in this car from other ones Ive had. The stereo is amazing sounding. It really pumps! overall I think this is a great car for!

    2005 Hyundai Elantra - GT (M5) Hatchback

Pros: The stunning looks and craftmanship

Cons: no standard ABS or Traction control

Advice: Not much of a price difference between the GLS and GT go for the GT better suspension

I purchased a 2005 Elantra GT 5 door hatchback. All I can say folks is WOW! Although I wish the ABS and traction control were standard, I just experienced a severe snow storm and even without the ABS and Traction control it handled very very well. Didn't even break a sweat. Mine is the automatic, and even so I am not at all dissappointed. It has very good acceleration at least for me. That and all that leather! It has far more standard features than the competition, and the price is more than far. It comes with a killer 100 watt 6 speaker sound system, sun roof, and I feel like I'm driving a saab. If you're looking for a very reliable car at a very good price Hyundai is the way to go. They seem to make their own gas as well, mine gets 28 MPG. This is my third Hyundai I have owned, and the first one was rear ended and saved my life. These cars are built like tanks, their warranty is top notch, and the dealership and service department at my dealership quite simply rock. It is for these reasons I will always buy a hyundai.
