Hyundai i30 Euro Variant Becomes High-class Hotel Room
If spending the night in your car doesn’t sound like much of thrill, you’ve apparently never spent a night in a 2013 Hyundai i30—the European version of America’s all-new 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT: Over in the Netherlands, you see, Facebook friends have been competing to do exactly that, although the i30 in question has been transformed into “the world’s first 5-star hotel on 4 wheels.” Perhaps unsurprisingly, the idea came from the brand’s Amsterdam-based ad agency—Fitzroy Amsterdam, to give credit where credit’s due—as a way to highlight the vehicle’s ample cargo space.
And you can consider this: The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT, a five-door hatchback that’s a compact 169.3 inches in length, offers 51 cubic feet of space behind the front seats; the five-door Ford Focus, about two inches longer, provides 44.8. As for the latest Hyundai Hotel Edition, it also provides another unbeatable advantage over the Ford: Room service, naturally.
