    Roomy, full of options and Honda quality what more can you ask for? Maybe a few more MPGs. Fuel economy is the only negative thing I can say about this SUV. I loved this SUV from the moment I test drove it. I highly recommend it.

    2006 Honda Pilot - EX 4x4

    Summary
    The mechanical performance of this Honda Pilot has been outstanding. The only deficit of this automobile is road noise. If this problem could be eliminated, this would be as close to perfect as an SUV could be. At 104,000 miles,it was time to have the timing belt, brakes, drive belts and water pump replaced so I decided to trade for another automobile.

    2011 Pilot

    We love this vehicle. It drives very smoothly especially on the highway. The only thing we wish is that the gearshift was not located where it is, but otherwise it is roomy, comfortable, and it even tows pretty well.

    Summary

    Great Honda SUV

    Pros: Great Ride and useful size, especially inside space

    Cons: Needs a little more power

    Excellent SUV for family or those that need the extra space without the extra size! Could use a little more power and mileage is about 20 MPG in or out of town. Every need feature expect sun roof which wasn't available in 04. I have owned several Honda's this one has been great from the start!

    Good car; I have it since 2004; never had problems except routine oil change, replaced battery once, and replaced tires.

    Summary

    a life saver on the road

    Pros: the size and AWD

    Cons: city gas mileage

    This is a perfect family mover with 8 people if necessary. The all wheel drive on demand has saved us on the road more than once in Iowa and Missouri winters.

    Summary

    Good ride

    Pros: Easy to get in and out of

    Cons: Tire noise, fixed it with a set of Michelins

    Very comfortable on long hauls. Tire noise was a problem but a set of Michelin Latitude tires took care of that. Gets 20-22 mpg, got 26 one time in Montana. Not a real looker but the newer version is worse. Go for it.
