Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
This is the most comfortable and convenient van I've ever owned and driven. There is enough torque to drive to vegas with the whole family in it and cargo fully loaded. The ride is smooth and quite compared to most competitions. I was able to go to Home Depot and put a bunch of 10-ft long 2x4s on the floor in the center with the rear door shut just right! Highly recommend this van!
Pros: The space is fantastic
Cons: NothingFabulous minivan

Best overall minivan
Pros: The room and the safety features
Cons: All back seats do not fold into the floorI have had no problems with this vehicle. It has preformed well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a minivan. I love all the safety features it has. I also like the fact that you use only the cylinders you need thus saving on gas.
One sweet vehicle!
Pros: Everything about it.
Cons: I do become irritated that Honda thinks I need to have self-locking doors. That's a pain, sometimes.Initially, I wasn't all that impressed, but the more I've driven my Odyssey, the more I've grown to admire it. Even love it. Handles beautifully (even sportily) - feels as if it's glued to the road. Takes curves with virtually no body lean. Strong, quiet engine, smooth transmission. Gets excellent gas mileage on long trips as long as I keep the RPM's below 2,000 by using the cruise control. (I averaged 27.5 mpg combined on a cross-country trip of 7,300 miles.) I also love the flexibility of its interior. I removed one of the 2nd row seats to provide a capacious space for my 2 golden retrievers. If I have extra passengers, I simply raise up the 3rd row seats. (Actually, that's my favorite place to sit when there's a different driver: views out are terrific.) Would I buy another one? In a second, although I doubt that I'll soon feel the impulse to do that. That's because this one will last nearly forever, judging from my experience with 2 other Hondas I've owned. PS: My license plate is 'BYHOMER.' (Get it? 'The Odyssey, by Homer?' That seems fitting, because my Odyssey takes me and my dogs on my many delightful, adventurous journeys into nearby Mexico in total comfort and safety.)
Pros: Voice activation
Cons: Rattle sound when opening trunk
Advice: Worst quality I've ever seen. Try to avoid Honda at all cost. Go with Toyota or NissanTook this car for a test drive. Man what a junk. Noticed multiple issues right on the spot as soon as I started the engine. Wheel vibrates on low RPM which is really annoying. The whole car shakes and it's hard to hold it when you accelerate up to 45 miles per hour. After passing 60 vibration is gone. Dealer has no clue on what is going on. He actually told me that this is a known issue and they can't do anything about it. So much for honda quality. During e braking brakes just disengage and because of that almost end up in the car accident. I had to use hand brake to stop. Rattling sound when opening the trunk. Sound was actually coming from one of the struts. Dealer told me that they can fix that by replacing it. Question: Why didn't they replaced it before showing the car. On the final note: car is always pooling to the right like it didn't had any kind of alignment. Really disappointed.
Pros: Power, reinfinement, quality, resale value
Cons: power doors
Advice: This is the bset mini vanThis is the best minivan, period. Had a 2002 Dodge Caravan Sport. At 67,000 miles the car was done. Never again will I buy a Dodge. The Honda has everything that you could ever want in a minivan and then some. It has been reported that the Odyessy is an expensive van in its segment. However, an EX can be purchaced for around $25,500.00, and with its resale value, that makes it quite the bargin.
