    2003 Honda Odyssey - EX-L w/DVD Entertainment System

Pros: Definitely the acceleration... DVD/sound system

Cons: Everyone seems to have one and in gold color (like mine!)

Advice: Check Consumer Reports and spend a few dollars to find out the vehicle's actual price

We were fortunate enough to purchase this vehicle soon after the new Sienna came out. We were able to buy it for $100 over invoice. Excellent quality, smooth and powerful, the kids love the DVD, we all love the leather and power doors. We took it on a 3,000 mile cross-country vacation, and it handled superbly! The only problem we had was the brakes needed to be adjusted, but that's it! I looked heavily into the Toyota Sienna and the Nissan Quest, and the Honda beat them both on overall quality, performance, proven reliability (always be wary of buying cars in their first model year), and price (Toyota wanted MSRP). We plan on keeping this van for a long time--highest recommendation!

    2003 Honda Odyssey - LX

    Pros: Rear-Folding seats

Cons: The placement of the gear selector.

Advice: Try it, I doubt you'll complain.

I like driving this better then my 2001 Accord Silver Edition. Its more comfortable, it seems to handle better (other then the braking, but it is a heavier vehicle), and I love the room. I even bought this, and I have no kids.

    2003 Honda Odyssey - EX-L w/DVD Entertainment System

Pros: The power sliding doors on both sides

    Cons: nothing

Advice: Test drive this van before purchasing another make vehicle

This is the most comfortable van we have ever driven. It has lots of leg room and easy access to children in the middle and back seats. It is a very quiet van making it a pleasure to drive with several passengers. There is plenty of storage space with the sunken compartent in the trunk. This is a must for families needing a van. With the DVD player, there is no more dreading long family trips with young children.

    2003 Honda Odyssey - EX-L

    Pros: The power sliding doors.

Cons: The gear handle is awkward at first. Poor location design

    Advice: GO FOR IT

From the moment my family piled into this car for the test drive we were sold. With 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 school age children we filled it up. There was more space in this vehicle than in my larger conversion van. We have travelled more comfortably in our Odyssey than in any previous vehicle that we have owned. The ride is smooth, very little road noise, and it just feels so good. We got a tremendous deal and have been so satisfied with our car and dealer that we are looking at purchasing another Honda for our second car. I love this van!!!!

    2003 Honda Odyssey - LX

Pros: The versatility available with the fold-down backseat and removable Captain's Chairs.

Cons: Don't care for the dip in the floor immediately behind the front seats.

Advice: Buy it--it is well worth the money.

The performance of the Odyessy is OUTSTANDING. The pick up, braking, mileage is all terrific.

    2003 Honda Odyssey - LX

Pros: The power and handling, also the ease of operation.

Cons: The back seat, you can hear the road noise alittle loadly.

Advice: No question buy it. Its the one!

We actually liked the 2004 Toyota Sienna, but after we tried the Odyssey it was a no brainer. The Sienna felt like a luxury car and drove alittle heavy had to much gaggets and hidden compartments. We chose the Odyssey because first of all Hondas quality and reputation, and also because the Odyssey really felt like a sports car. It was able to take corners with very little sway, felt real sporty. This van has some real pep! Best choice in the market. People were lining up to buy one for awhile.

    2003 Honda Odyssey - EX-L w/DVD Entertainment System

    Pros: engine

    Cons: had to pay sticker

Advice: Good luck trying to find one to test drive - we had to leave a downpayment to get the right to refuse the vehicle - they're hot!

best powered minivan on the market in '03. Good pick-up and handling. Comfortable seating. DVD is great for kids but front radio/CD/DVD control is a little confusing at first. No problems in the first 8 months. The spare tire jack is in the middle of the car, right behind the front seats and is cover only by carpet, making the floor a little uneven there.
