2011 Honda Insight
Pros: mpg and very helpful MID
Cons: back seat space
I have driven from Dallas to Orlando and back averaging 52 mpg. Another short trip from Houston to Dallas averaging 59 mpg. Overall I get between 52-54 mpg with 90% city and 10% hwy. Extremely pleased with my 2011 Insight LX. My fellow co-workers still can't believe this little Insight can do just as well as a 26K Prius for 6K less.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2010 Honda Insight
Outstanding
Pros: Technological dash board.
Cons: Price.
If viewed for what it's meant to be, and that is an in-town economy car, one can only say the Honda Insight is a winner. We average 38 to 42 actual mpg with only in town driving. If you have to drive on the highway everyday, this car is not for you. I hate to say it, but you'd prolly like the Prius much better on the open road.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes

2009 Honda Civic Hybrid
Okay, but......
Pros: GPS system
Cons: The ride.
Not comfortable on any long ride. Performance is not too bad. GPS system is the best I have seen. For a short commuter car this is probably the best. For a family car, it is not my first choice.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? No

2008 Honda Civic Hybrid
Really good, but could be better
Pros: XM Radio
Cons: Hard seats
I got the one with Nav, and this is one place where Honda needs to improve. When I pay $25000.00 for a car, it seems a bit greedy to have to pay $189.00 every year or so to get the new maps. Especially when my $99 .00 Magellen is more accurate. I also wasn't too thrilled to find my door protector on the ground one day less than a year after I bought the car. That's a $140.00 fix that should never be needed. That being said, I have gotten 50 MPG on occasion, and pretty much can count on 40+. The ride is good although the seats could be more comfortable. Rear legroom is excellent. Acceleration sucks, but then again, it is a hybrid. I can get to highway speed OK, but gently. Back to the Nav, I like the integration with the radio and climate control, but I wish the thing understood English. Then again my friend's Cadillac does no better. Over all, I would buy another one. That being said, my next car will probably be a Malibu hybrid. I want to buy American.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? Yes
