    2006 Honda CR-V

    Very Good Small Suv Choice

    Pros: Reliability

    Cons: Noisy

Everything great except noisy and firm ride. Highway mileage better than claim, but city mileage only about 22 MPG. Premium radio obsolete... has no usb port or ipod or ear phone jack.

    2006 Honda CR-V

    My favorite vehicle

    Pros: overall usefullness

    Cons: road noise

I am 62 and have owned a lot of vehicles in my life. The CR-V I bought new in Oct 2006 is the best overall vehicle I have ever owned. The size is perfect for me. I haul a lot of stuff in it but it is not huge. It is an SE model with all wheel drive.

    2006 Honda CR-V

    Reliable, economical family transportation

    Pros: Mileage & All-wheel drive

Cons: Road noise in the passenger compartment

Bought the last shipment of the 2006 models before the 2007's arrived with the body-style changes. The ONLY complaint I have about the car is the road-noise that makes its way into the cabin. I have changed tires, which help a little -- but short of tearing out the interior and applying sound-deadening material to the floors, doors, etc. - there's nothing that can be done. So, other than that, I LOVE the car. I've got 56,000 miles on it, and NO problems. My wife and I have 2 kids now, so it might be time to upgrade soon -- it's getting a little tight. It's probably the best vehicle I've owned though. I get 25mpg mixed driving and if I set the cruise at 65-70mph, I can get about 27 mpg on a trip. I would definitely buy it again.

    2006 Honda CR-V - SE (A5) 4x4

    Pros: 4 cylinder engine

    Cons: side swing rear door

    Advice: No regrets

Great SUV. Tracks well, solid feeling, very nice in winter conditions. Honda quality!!! Well organised storage features. Great access to the baby seat. Pleased with gas mileage. Stereo ctrls on steering wheel a plus. All necessary gauges and easy to read. Nice seating position for visibility. This is our 2nd Honda and we are sold on Honda. Excellent resale. Leather interior is rich feeling.

    2006 Honda CR-V - EX (A5) 4x4

Pros: The safety precautions -- rated highest in its class (front and side air bags, reinforced body).

Cons: The visibility out the back, bit with the excellent side mirrors there's no problem.

Advice: Take a long test drive, with different terrain and shapes. You'll love this vehicle.

From roominess through features, gas mileage, and handling, this is a great vehicle. The design of the dashboard and the various storage areas is very sensible -- no frills, but everything you need where you need it. I like the combination of the 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed automatic transmission.

    2006 Honda CR-V - EX (A5) 4x4

Pros: Easy and fun to drive

Cons: Tailgate opens on the left instead of the right

Advice: Seriously consider any Honda vehicle! You can't go wrong!

This is an awesome mini suv! I recently traded my 2005 jeep liberty for my this honda crv and I will never go back. It drives similar to my husbands civic (its based on the civic) which gives superior handling and control. Gas milage is great compared to the other suvs on the market. I cant wait for a hybrid crv to come out! I am very impressed with the all wheel drive which kicks in when the car starts to slip. It has plenty of storage and room for passengers. The back seats recline for extra room. Its too bad the 2007 model is redesigned so much because I love it the way it is!
