    2004 Honda S2000 - Base

    Pros: The shifter

Cons: Lack of an option for navigation for the U.S. (Japanese spec S2000's have this option)

Advice: Test drive it. P.S.: The car responds REALLY well to steering input

The S2000 is a drivers car. In order to truly appreciate the beauty behind the engineering, it has to be pushed to 8200RPM. The VTEC system is flawless, the handling is quick and crisp, with the steering wheel giving the driver tons of feedback. The shifter is the best I've ever encountered. One test drive of this car is all it takes to get a true auto enthusiast hooked. After I drove this machine, no other vehicle was able to capture my attention. No other car I have ever driven has been able to put a smile on my face everytime I get into it. If you love cars and love to drive, this is the car for you. It will make every commute a joyous occasion.

    2004 Honda S2000 - Base

    Pros: everything!!!!

    Cons: I lve it all!!!

Advice: be careful in the rain and snow

I bought this 05 s2000 in novemeber of 04, I have since drove about 48k miles (yes I am addicted to it), it is like no other car that I have driven, It is soooo fast and so much fun to drive, at any speed, and you will get noticed by all, You will even get more looks driven this car that driving a Vette, Because there arnt that many s2000 on the road, All I can say is that for the money you get a sports car that is sooo much better than others that cost even two time the amount.

    2005 Honda S2000 - Base

    Pros: Performance

    Cons: no overdrive

    Advice: Enjoy it.

I've driven motorcycles for 25 years and have never felt the same feeling of a ride like I have in the s2000. The car gives you every exhilerating, thrilling, unnerving, on-the-egde, feeling that motorcycling does, and then some. I gave up motorcycles for now but I still get home needing a drink of something to wet my dry mouth. It's difficult to ask for a more highway like ride without losing that truly sports car feel. Don't even consider any other sports car unless you go BIG $$. Have Fun!! Thanks Honda...

    2004 Honda S2000 - Base

    Pros: The badass high-revving engine...

Cons: The soft top... I'll soon replace it with a hard carbon fiber top!

Advice: Drive it like you stole it!

Plain and simple; this is a race car for the streets! Countless amounts of potential mods to make it even faster. The NA high-revving engine was definately the selling point for me. I have owned turbo cars in the past, but the response of an NA engine is tough to beat. Not to mention the nearly prefect weight distribution (thanks to the engine being tucked back near the firewall). With practice, you can easily control the car like an extension of your body. Understeer and oversteer conditions can be acheived at your very command. The 6-speed tranny shifts like a dream and heel-toe downshifts can be done seamlessly. There's nothing bad that I can say... You could totally turn this car into a track / street monster if that is your desire (and if you have the cash). Overall a fantastic package for the price!

    2005 Honda S2000 - Base

    Pros: The 6 speed transmission

Cons: Lack of oil and amp meters

Advice: Do not allow the dealer to charge ADC or other extra chages.

A no frills sports car, a drivers car, not for the freeway. The car is best on the twisty side roads. While it is capable of running all day at speeds of over 130mph, it is happiest at its cornering and performance limits. It is not a car for the faint-hearted. If you can keep the engine rpm's below 5000, you can get 30mph.
