    2004 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather/XM (M6) Coupe

Pros: VTEC is very responsive. you deffinitly feel it when it kicks in. More so than any other

Cons: Expensive Options Rims Weight 211whp

Advice: Dont settle for the 5spd manual, get the 6spd, better gas mileage and its quicker.

The 2004 Honda Accord EX V-6 with a 6-Speed Manual Transmisson and non-navigation system is a true joy to drive. The 3.0 l 240hp VTEC engine is very responsive with the close gear rations. The handling is decent, not as 'sporty as Honda claims. The interior is gorgeous, full leather standard, Large, easy access cental console and roomy back seat is deffinitly worth the extra weight. The exterior is sleek and very aerodynamic. The stock 17' rims are an aquired taste, not mine. Dual exhaust with a chrome trim is very sharp. Gas mileage is sluggish around town, but with the 6th gear over drive, it makes up for it on the highway.

    2004 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Auto/Leather/XM (A5) Coupe

Pros: Drivetrain -- incredibly smooth and refined.

Cons: Annoying small build quality issues.

Advice: Donlt think just because it wears the 'H' that it's pefect.

OK, some will call me a heretic for this, but here goes: the '04 Honda Accord is a great car. It is not, however an excellent car, or a perfect car. I've owned it 9 months now, and here are the highs and the lows: HIGHS: V6 engine is simply stunning. It is seamlessly smooth, almost like an electric motor. Superb 5-speed automatic transmission always knows how to find the right gear. Effortless highway cruising -- you won't be tired out even after 500-600 miles of driving. The seats are awesome -- the most comfortable I have ever experienced. Instrumentation is top-notch, always readable at a glance. The HVAC system heats and cools very quickly. Quiet, smooth ride. Rommy interior -- it's really a full-size car. The styling is really almost avant garde for the class. LOWS: Mushy handling -- too much body roll and needs better tires. Pronounced torque steer under hard acceleration. Niggling build quality problems such as squeaks, less than perfect fit for the headliner, jerky movement of power seats, and cheap carpeting. Confusing controls for the radio and HVAC. Somewhat of a gas hog in city driving. Tacky looking fake wood on the interior. Sunroof control hidden on dashboard in a really stupid place. Headlights not bright enough. BOTTOM LINE: I don't think a person can go wrong with an Accord, but be smart and shop the choices. As I said, it IS a great car, but it is not an excellent car, not is it a perfect car.

    2004 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX (A5) Sedan

Pros: The feel of luxury without the high cost

Cons: At warmed up tempratures the engine idles below 1000rpm and causes the car to vibrate slightly

Advice: Take it for a test drive you'll love it

I drive on average 800 miles a week. So I’m in the car a lot and the Accord makes for a very comfortable ride. The brakes respond quickly and the i-VETC engine pulls you past traffic. I can’t say enough about the car it handles well on curvy roads and since the brakes will only put power to the wheels that have grip stopping on ice is a snap. Buy it you wont regret it.
