    2004 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather/XM/Navi (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Nagivation System

    Cons: Lack of seat memory

Advice: Be sure to check out the nav system.

In the past year since I've owned this vehicle, it has been reliable, ane economical to drive. In my 40-mile/day commute in mixed city/highway traffic, I get a real-world 40 MPG. The seats are comfortable, and the ride is refined. The engine is a strong 240 HP. While it doesn't have a lot of torque until it gets up to higher revs, it is smooth and quiet. The vehicle is the right size -- roomy interior, but still mid-size exterior dimensions. Overall, it is an excellent value, especially loaded with all the extras. The nav system is great for bypassing traffic through side streets.

    2004 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather/XM (A5) Coupe

Pros: The ride and Quietness. You can not hear any road or wind noise at 60 mph.

Cons: The car had no power lumbar support.

Advice: Buy it Buy it Buy it. But make sure you get the EX-L or V6

Very Comfortable Car. I have a 10 year-old and he is very picky. He says the ride in the back was stiff in the beginning , but now it is soft and plush. The heated seats and Sunroof we use alot in Florida. WE usually have our a/c on for our 20 min. drive home from school. Great car, we love it! Also, over bumpy, lumpy streets we do not bounce up and down like in the Honda Element we drove. Buy Buy Buy!!!

    2004 Honda Accord - 2.4 LX (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Appearance

    Cons: Gas mileage and brakes

Advice: Test drive it carefully where you normally drive.

I am extremly disappointed with the gas mileage on my Accord. The majority of my driving is a 40 mile highway commute and I average less than the city epa estimate of 26mpg. The brakes are extremely touchy and the dealer says there is nothing that can be done. The ride is very stiff especially on small bumps or ridges in the highway. The transmission shifts awkwardly until it warms up - again the dealer says is is normal. My 92 Camry was a far better vehicle.

    2004 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather/XM (A5) Sedan

Pros: value. You get a lot of features for the price.

Cons: noisy ride -- a lot of tire noise (the hollow drone of a poorly insulated wheel well) and wind noise around the windows and exterior mirrors

Advice: drive this car on the road surfaces you normally travel and listen

This is my second Honda. Perhaps my expectations have exceeded the value offered by the Accord. This car seemed to have everything I was looking for in a commuter vehicle; fuel economy, pep, clean looks both inside and out, enough back seat room that my 4 year old daughter's feet don't get wedged. I was in awe from my last experience and took this one for an abbreviated test drive (a direct result of trying to satisfy the daughter requirement on one of her off days). Since driving the EX over the past 3 weeks I have become very disappointed in the overall ride comfort, especially the ever present hum from the tires over our New England (rough) road surfaces.

    2004 Honda Accord - 2.4 EX w/Leather/XM (A5) Sedan

    Pros: Great stereo with XM

Cons: No automatic self-locking/un-locking doors when put in gear or park

    Advice: Definitely drive it last

Since I still need room for four, I had to get a four-door, but I also wanted something fun to drive. This car really hit the mark for me. It has the feel of a BMW with its firm but not-too-firm ride. The 4-cyl feels like a small V6 and the 5-spd AT is silky smooth. Squeak and rattle-free from day one, which is more than I can say about the Camry I previously had, or the Malibu. We now have four Honda's in the family, and they are all terrific.

    2004 Honda Accord - 3.0 LX (A5) Sedan

Pros: The vehicle looks richer than the cost truly is

Cons: The brake control can be dangerous on hills, and of course in ice

Advice: Get a really nice/lengthy test drive, and consider the price as well as the performance

    Very smooth ride.

    2004 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather/XM (M6) Coupe

Pros: Powerfull 3.0 engine that will burn regular unleaded. Standard XM radio

Cons: Many rattles and drivers seat that feels loose as if its not completely bolted down.

Advice: Don't expect the usual Honda quality on 2004s

I have owned this car for a year and I am ready to unload it. 6MT V6 Accord Coupe is a very quick car but is difficult to drive in everyday traffic. Build quality is not as good as the 1998 Accord I owned. Annoying rattles, a loose feeling drivers seat and a notchy shifter take away from everyday driving experience. Poor dash control layout. Upgraded 17' wheels on 6 speed coupe ride rough without giving a much better handling improvement. Very heavy torque steer when full throttle applied. Dealing with Honda service departments not always pleasant.
