Pros: Navigation System
Cons: i like it all
Advice: If you have the money-buy it.This vehicle is by far the best Accord ever built. The voice commands, nav system, leather and all the other luxuries are the best things to be put in the accord since it was first made.
Cons: Would like lighted cruise and audio controls on the steering wheel.
Advice: Check out the red one!I've owned 92, 95, 99 and now the 03 Accord. This is by far the best; no doubt about it. Almost everything from the previous Accord has been redone. I thought the 99 was great, but this just blows it away.
Pros: Ride and handling with comfort and quiet, and outstanding seats.
Cons: Glove compartment has no padding or soundproofing. Add your own.
Advice: Shop more than one dealer to get the best price.I've driven this V6 almost 400 miles and have averaged over 30 MPG with great performance. It combines ride and handling that is better than anything I've driven, including Lexus ES300, BMW 3 and 5 series, Volkswagon Passat, and Camray. The five speed automatic transmission is smooth and very responsive. It would be hard to make this a better combination of ride and handling, and it is quiet and smooth. The navigation system and trip computer just make it better. All controls are intuitive, and easy to use.
Pros: Leather seats & separate driver/passenger climate controls
Cons: keyless-entry transmitter is too large
Advice: Feels like a more expensive car than it is.Our previous car was a bare-bones 1992 Honda Civic DX Sedan which continues to be trouble-free at 145,000 miles. Now with the 2003 Accord I feel like I'm driving a Mercedes. What a difference from the 2002 Accord, which we found to be a bit yawn-inspiring. The fit and finish, ride and handling of this car are impressive. The 5-speed manual trans is smooth and responsive. We were very close to buying a Passat, but got scared off by the many reports in on-line forums of Volkswagen's lousy reliability record. We wanted a trouble-free car above all else. The Accord is a solid alternative to the Passat. It's every bit as comfortable and fun to drive---maybe a little less stylish---but still extremely attractive, especially the black leather interior we chose. This is our third Honda and they've all been great to own.
Pros: The radio controls on the steering wheel.
Cons: The controls on the steering wheel are not illuminated at night.
Advice: Give this car a serious look. It has the quality that Honda is known for plus now it has the looks that makes it stand out against its competitors.I have replaced my 2002 Camry XLE with a 2003 Accord EX. The Accord has a sharper look to it, has the appearance of a much more expensive car, and handles extremely well. The quality of the car exceeds that of the Camry. To its credit the Camry has less road noise than the Accord and has a softer feel to it. However, the Accord accelerates better, the automatic shifts better, it delivers better gas mileage, and is much more fun to drive, and it costs less!
Pros: The great V-6 engine. Performance and good mileage.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Advice: Buy one!Wow. What a great car. I bought the EX-V6 sedan in Graphite Gray and like everything about it. This latest version is by far the best. It looks and drives great. I like every detail and how its engineered and put together. It's not flashy like the Altima or boring like the Camry. It's just great to look at from any angle and to drive. This car was made just for me.
