The test drive was great! The car is great! I replaced my 97' Accord SE 2d. with my new 2002 SE 2d. The one car I think everyone should own...

    2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 LX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: Comfort and visibility.

Cons: Ease of access to intruders.

Advice: Lock it up in your garage at night.

My wife and I purchased a 2001 Accord LX in January of 2001. It has been a pleasure to drive. Unfortunately, it was stolen two weeks ago. Since then in our research we have found that the Honda Accord is one of the easiest cars for a thief to get into. Additionally, the engine immobilizer is worthless. Check the crime statistics nationally and in your area. Ask police officers in your neighborhood. When you tell them your car was stolen the first thing they ask is, 'Was it a Honda Accord?' We would like to buy another one, this time an EX-L model, however, until Honda can design a car that somehow deters the most amateur of car thiefs from getting into the car we will choose another brand (except of course the car that is stolen as much or more than the Accord, the Toyota Camry). PS. Since Honda is restyling the Accord for 2003, thefts of Honda Accords from 1998-2002 will only increase.

    2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 EX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: steering

Cons: transmission going out at 41,000 miles with regualr service at Honda dealershp

Advice: Don't buy an Accord with automatic transmission. My car was serviced every 3500 miles at a Honda dealership. Transmission went out with no warning!!

    I loved my test drive.

    2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 SE (A4) Sedan

    Pros: The whole car

Cons: Could use a bit more horsepower...not a huge deal though

Advice: Passat? Camery? Do your self a favor and buy this car

I was very pleased with the car, this is the third Accord (91 & 97)I've owned and it only gets better. I've driven other cars of my friends and nothing is like my accord. I've never had problems with my Accords and as a 23 year old I can say this car rocks! P.S. To let everyone know, 2 reviews that are in the 20's were both rated on Civic's not Accord's, check it out!

    2002 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather (A4) Sedan

    Pros: reliability

    Cons: not cutting edge styling

    Advice: get the 6 cyl

This car does everything well. I don't think one can do any better for the money. The 2002 EX 6 cyl. are now discounted pretty well. I paid under $23K, and I think you can do even better now. There are no flaws in the design or fit and finish, it has been extremely reliable. This is a great car for someone who just wants good value and very little attention. Maintain it well, and you will do well at turn in time. I understand that the 2003 model will bring changes, so it might be a good idea to take advantage of the good pricing for a 2002 and until the 2003 is debugged. (There probably won't be many bugs in the 2003.)

    2002 Honda Accord - 3.0 EX w/Leather (A4) Coupe

    Pros: Interior is absolutely perfect

Cons: Automatic transmission is a little temper mental

Advice: Buy it! Shop the competition to make sure, but buy this car!

I just purchased my new Accord Coupe EX 3 days ago; silver with black leather interior. My opinion of the car: ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! This is my 5th Honda and I cannot believe how this company started from a little baby econobox civic x-amount of years ago to this; a totally refined, incredibly well detailed, tight handling, very impressive power plant automobile (oh yeah, with a great stereo system). I owned a 97 Accord Sedan 2 cars back and I just cannot get over the night and day difference between these 2. I love it and I wish I were driving it right now. But unfortunately I have to work to pay for it. But its outside waiting for me and its friday :-) I am in my early 30's and I was looking for a car that was a joy to commute in while at the same time making the ride as enjoyable as possible. The car is incredibly tight and oh my god refined. Interior is very spacious while still offering the feel of sports coupe. Ergonomics? its a honda, and just like all the others, its flawless. I am always impressed that they are able to design all the instruments and controls so that none are obstructed from view. In-dash 6 cd changer (thank you Honda) is fantastic; no more morning radio. Volume control on steering wheel (now im getting spoiled). Power seat, sun roof and how much more nick-nack storage can you offer in a car? wow! The passenger seating is more than spacious (again, this is a coupe remember and the room is plenty). O.k. now the masculine side of me: the engine rocks! it sounds so sweet when it purs and its begging me to see what it has to offer. Acceleration? I love blowing past the dodge/chevy so-called same class sports cars. Handling: I dont know if it can be any smoother. Its just perfect. It has become clear to me that Honda held nothing back when they created this beauty. I really dont know what else there is to desire from an automobile...like I said, absolutely beautiful, in every aspect. nice job Honda!

    2002 Honda Accord - 2.3 DX (M5) Sedan

    Pros: 6 speaker/CD system

Cons: No lumbar support in drivers seat.

Advice: Move up to the LX with more features but not that much more money.

The Accord performs reasonably well for its class although the engine in the DX doesn't have a lot of acceleration through the gears.
