pretty good choice
Pros: Able to do most things well
Cons: Does not exceed at any one thing. Not very good off road in deeper snow. Overall a nice ride. Does have some pretty bad blind spots for me. Highway mileage is much better than just driving in town. Very reliable thus far.
Pros: Looks, safety
Cons: Hard to find parking places with ample room to protect it.We have owned many vehicles including BMWs, Mercedes-Benz and domestics. We have never been happier with a vehicle over a period of years and service as we are with our 2007 Yukon. Over 50,000 miles, very smooth, quiet and comfortable. Gets 19 mpg at 75 mph, over 20 at 55 mph.
Pros: 3 pasengers fit in the front
Cons: not enough loading spaceI think its a great truck
My GMC Yukon Saved My Life
Pros: Large size and comfort
Cons: Nothing we love everything about our GMC YukonWe have owned a GMC Yukon for 10 years. I was hit by a Semi in 05'. Had I been in a little fuel efficient car I wouldn't be here today. Gas mileage is worthless to us if the vehicle isn't SAFE! Hey if we go all electric to save high gas and emitions electricity will just cost more. We leased all of our Large SUVS so we just bought this one w/ very low miles. I NEVER care about fuel economy now, only safety. Our GMC is comfortable and a gorgeous vehicle. Sorry so many love those tiny death traps but we wll always have a large SUV. We have grandbabies now and they are safer in our Yukon than all those tiny cars. Thank you General Motors for making such a wonderful vehicle.
Pros: Navigation, running boards, styling, engine and drivetrain power, Bose sound system with XM Radio the four captain chairs - it gives everyone a comfortable seat in the first two rows.
Cons: third seat room - it is best for the small ones, electric folding seats - kinda a silly feature but clever
Advice: If you want a well built, comfortable SUV - go for the Denali - you will be satisfiedI have had a 1994 GMC Suburban, 2000 Yukon, 2003 Escalade and now a black on black 2007 GMC Denali. They have all been great SUV's but the newly designed 07 exceeds my expectations. I almost got another Escalade until I saw that the Denali was about $10K less than the 'Sclade'. I have every option - one of my favorite is the retractable running boards with the 20 inch rims ( the caddy only offers 18 or 22's - - I like the 20's). The navigation system combined with the phone is great - spend the time to figure it out and you will not be sorry. The rear seat entertainment system is easy to use and the back up camera is a must have if you tow a boat. It allows you to align the hitch with the ball. The heated seats and steering wheel come on when you use the remote start feature ( and it cools the car off in the summer) - it makes having a black car in California tolerable. The ride is smooth and the build quality is excellent, I have not had to take it back to the dealership for anything other than the oil changes in 12K miles. Due to issues with other GM cars I have moved over to Ford products - with the exception of this Denali, the Lincoln Navigator does not hold a candle to the new GMC Denali
Pros: the luxurious interior as well as the exterior.
Cons: limited colors... My favorite color is FIRE RED.
Advice: If you're looking for a suv with luxury then the GMC Yukon Denali you must seeThere are no words to describe how much I love my Denali.. It is not only a beautiful suv but, the ride is superb and it is very roomy. Even my husband says that the 2007 yukon is a sweet ride. He also loves the 6.2 liter engine as well as the smooth ride.
Pros: Flex-Fuel engine
Cons: Lack of colors choices
Advice: Don't be affraid of the size the gas millage is about the same as a small suvThe 2007 Yukon is best in class in design, quality and creature features that make since. Not like the the 1990s bling tech coming out of Japan for the last ho hum 20 years. The flex fuel and 4/8 cylinder displacement is the most innovative power plant on the planet. We should all be screaming for more e-85 engines from all automotive companies around the globe. For America it would mean jobs for American workers, cleaner air, and no dependence on foreign oil. GM did it this time they error proof the body adhesive, theirs no chance of human error what so ever.In addition we're starting to see the genius of Bob lutz once again reach the road. His vision is always refreshing eye candy. I understand that GM has decided to increase production becaues of the great responce since the introduction. This car is chuck full of great enginnering.
