Pros: Ride and handling quality
Cons: maintenance problems
Advice: Seriously consider this vehicleReplaced front differential at 5000 miles (warranty) and fuel pump at 48000 miles ($800). Oyher than that this vehicle outperforms all other 4X4 Suv's in its class.
Cons: Gas Milage
Advice: If gas isn't a convern...get this car.What a ride!
Pros: Comfortable seating with feeling of total control of vehicle
Cons: Large mirrors do not have motorized returns (03's do)
Advice: Don't hesitate. Nothing better for the buck.Looks like a kitten, acts like a tiger. Traded a '98 Tahoe for this Green Machine. It is truly a vehicle for all seasons. Comfortable, apparently durable, easily driven, a bit tight on cargo space with third row seats, but manageable. Would purchase another in a heart beat. Drives and handles like a sports car with muscle.
Pros: The newly redisigned leather seats with 10-way power adjustments.
Cons: Haven't found anything yet worth mentioning.
Advice: Why pay 10K more for the Escalade, when the Denali is essentially the same car.The 2002 Yukon Denali handles like a dream, giving the driver a feeling of confidence and complete control in all road conditions. The 6.0L 300HP powerplant lets the driver get out of the way should the need arise. The redisigned leather seats really hold the driver in place giving incredible support during the jaunts from the concrete jungle to the beaches of South Padre Island.
Pros: front end apperance
Advice: do not purchase until they correct engine problemFeburary 14th,2002 marked the 62nd day that I owned the GMC Denali awd vehicle & for 19 of those days this vehicle has been in the dealers shop.!With repairs to Running Boards,Painting,Vibrations,Friont end noises, Replacement of bearings in front end AWD, Complete Replacement of front AWD unit( after blowing apart in my driveway/garage nice mess ) & Now a Engine Knock that GMC acknowledges is annoying but has no fix for but will extend the warranty to 5 years/100,000 miles ( sounds like a diesel) What a shane for such a previous great vehicle..!!!!
Pros: programable seats
Cons: not enough torque
Advice: buy oneIt is a very comfortable riding vehicle.
