2015 GMC Sierra Elevation Edition Meets Rising Demand

GM's Professional Grade brand will double-down on style packages for the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, adding a new Elevation Editon to go with the Carbon Editions revealed just last week. The concept here is to provide a "combination of style and content unavailable from competitors in the sport truck segment," and the Elevation Editions of the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 will do that with a number of new style cues.

First and foremost in an eye-catching monochromatic exterior that features a body-colored grille surround and matching door handles, mirror cabs, side molding, and front and rear bumpers. That sleek appearance is then set off by premium LED headlamps, 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with a black-painted finish, and integrated fog lights. Finally, the Elevation package brings additional functionality to the 2015 GMC Sierra 15, too, in the form of an IntelliLink infotainment and connectivity system enhanced by a 4.2-inch color touchscreen, Bluetooth technology for hands-free calling and mobile wi-fi capability—for up seven devices—courtesy of OnStar's 4G LTE service.

The Elevation package will be offered solely on double-cab models of the 2015 GMC Sierra 1500, although customers can select either of the truck's engines or drivetrains, mixing V6 and V8 choices with rear- or all-wheel drive.

The 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Elevation Editions are expected in dealership before the end of the year, with pricing that's yet to be determined.
