With a Pro Grade roster led by the all-new 2014 GMC Sierra, GMC has become the Official Vehicle of Madden NFL 25, helping celebrate a quarter century of one of the most popular videogames of all time. And while the redesigned 2014 GMC Sierra will no doubt get much of the attention, a number of other players on the GMC team—including the GMC Acadia, GMC Terrain and GMC Yukon—also will get a few snaps during the Madden 25 action.
This is, of course, just the latest extension of the GMC/football partnership, which already has seen GM’s Professional Grade division become the Official Vehicle of the real-world National Football League. In that role, the MVP of each Superbowl now gets rewarded with his choice of a new GMC product, and, helping tie the two efforts together, a similar prize will be virtually presented to the MVP of each Madden 25 Superbowl. Further connecting GMC’s NFL initiatives to the new Madden game, the brand’s “Never Say Never Moment of the Week,” broadcast weekly on television, will be integrated into the action (for players with an Internet connection and Origin Account from EA Sports, the makers of Madden NFL).
Beyond the digital excitement, Madden NFL players may be able to get in on some real-world prizes, too: An online sweepstakes contest that runs through Aug. 1, 2013, offers a chance to win a trip to EA Sport’s studio in Orlando, Fla., for a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the videogame. Winners will be chauffeured in a 2014 GMC Sierra, naturally, and even get to test out Madden NFL 25 before it goes on sale to the public.

“GMC’s association with professional football is rooted in the common bonds of strength and determination,” said Sandra Moore, director of GMC Advertising and Sales Promotions. “Our new Madden integration allows us to show that we’re a technologically savvy brand as well.”
