Cons: Driving on interstate
turck will creep forward if not holding breaks hard. the seat is the worst. drives on intestate like an old worn out truck. windsheild wipers go off by them selves. water in front blinker. stop at a red light and the engine starts to run rough for a few seconds.- Recommend this vehicle to a friend? 2004 GMC Canyon - SLE 4x2 Standard Cab All

great power- even better handling-i can get 25 mpg if driven right- -
2007 GMC Canyon - Work Truck 4x2 Standard Cab
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Advice: This truck is a BUY !
Smooth running truck, plenty of power with the 2.9L inline 4 cyl, 3.73 rear axle ratio, auto locking differential and 5-speed manual. Getting 23 mpg city (25-30 mph) and 28 mpg highway (55-60 mph) with recommended 35 PSI all around and just 400 miles on truck. The right size truck for city driving when you MIGHT need the box for hauling. -
2005 GMC Canyon - w/Z85 Heavy-Duty/1SC 4x2 Crew Cab
Pros: strong engine
Cons: noisy cab
Advice: never pay sticker price...
The I5 engine is noisy, but it does have a lot of torque. nice ride for a pickup. -
2006 GMC Canyon - SLE2 4x4 Crew Cab 1SC Heavy-Duty
Pros: The great look with the offroad package.Get the dual exhaust!
Cons: Not a bad thing about it.
Advice: Get the offroad 4wd. You will not be disapointed
This is a great truck. I got the inline 5 4wd offroad package with leather. I even put dual exhaust straight out the back with flowmaster, and you gotta hear what this truck sounds like. I highly recommend it over any other trucks. Why buy an import when you could have a nice american truck that is pure bad ass!! -
2006 GMC Canyon - SLE1 4x2 Extended Cab
Pros: the styling
Cons: no ash tray.
Advice: if you are looking for a good value for the money this is it.
Overall I like the canyon very much. It performs beautifully in everyday driving. The 3.5 liter has more than enough power and I like the styling. I have to question some of the workmanship though. I don`t like the way the roof seems to be comprised of three pieces and the bottom of the bed has some unsightly welds and sheet metal tabs. I can live with it but my 93 sonoma was buttoned up better. I also don`t like the way GM drills holes in the fender lips wether you have the trim pieces that belong there or not. I`m not sure but i think that trim comes with the optional mudflaps. Sigh. I guess its back to the dealer and buy the mudflaps. -
2005 GMC Canyon - w/Z85 Heavy-Duty/1SB 4x4 Crew Cab

Cons: The vehicles hood bends down considerably when going thru airdryed carwashes
Advice: get the 5 cylinder
I was very surprised by the power of the inline 5 cyl.
