Ford 2008 F150
Pros: The GPS navagation system
Cons: On the old F150 model you could rest your arm on the window. You can't on the new model.Nice truck. Really great interior on the F150 Limited edition. Not very quick off the line but a nice truck. Never had any problems and that's the best thing.
99 F150 supercab
Cons: gas consumptionBought new in 1999, the truck is used mainly for commuting. Over the years however, it has handled moving a truck bed full of furniture from Beaumont to Sedona, garden duties that include many annual trips carrying a half ton of sod, garden rock and soil, motorcycles and 4wheelers. Never had the opportunity or necessity to tow. No problems in 180,000miles other than a propensity to wear out front tires rather quickly.
Pros: Quality of build and engine
Cons: Should have bought an extended cabI've had my Ranger for 10 years and 142,000 miles. It has only given me trouble once, and that was more because of bad advice from a mechanic. I would definitely recommend one to anyone.
Cons: power ,milagereliable, low tec engine. Lack of power
Pros: electric back window
Cons: sttepping up into the vehicle
Advice: this is more for a sportsman than a day to day transportation vehicletight feeling more of a ford f-150 feeling. good smooth running engine.
Pros: the amount of room and the ride
Cons: do not know
Advice: in its class its probably the best buythe ride was smooth and had power the engine was 4.6
