07. The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Debuts Track Apps
The 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 lets owners keep track of just how quickly they can drive the coupe or convertible versions of the car with the Track Apps feature. Track Apps, which is displayed on the dashboard via the vehicle's LCD screens, offers an accelerometer to measure g-forces, a system for recording acceleration times in increments of 0-30, 0-60, and 0-100-mph, and a braking distance measurement system. In addition, the Track Apps system is capable of recording quarter and eighth-mile times, and it even comes with a simulated drag strip 'tree' to help drivers plan their launches.
