Cons: nothingnice all around car
Cons: wheel-hop ; rear end differential popping noise
Advice: get the new Shelby or the new VetteI have had my 04 coupe for a year. I love the power, but I cant stand the popping noise in the rear end differential... which cant be fixed by the dealer. The other main problem is wheel-hop... which was helped by switching from the stock Goodyear tires to the BFG TA/KD. These Bfg's perform much better than the stock tires, but I still get a little wheel hop. I think I will be buying the new Corvette which does not seem to have these major issues. A fun car but for $500 a month there are better choices....
Pros: Ride and handling
Cons: Power steering noise
Advice: get the 3.9 liter v6 if v6 iswhat you want. The only problems I have is noisey exaust at a cold start, and the noisey power steering pump. The car is fairly comfortable on long trips for two people but not for family of more than two. On the trip it average 25 m.p.g. 20 in city. I like the way it drives and handles.
Cons: nothing if you cant handle a V8 with a 390 horsepwer engine dont buy it.
Advice: have fun with the carThe car is great in handling, comfort(for a sports car), quality, apperance, and especially performance. The car is good on gas FOR A V8 if its not good on gas and cant afford it dont buy the car. Horsepower and torque wise it awesome. If you ever get a chance to test drive one do it its worth it.
Pros: performance and looks.
Advice: Best bang for the buck muscle car.I would just like to say this to all those who gave this car a negative reveiw; you know absolutely nothing about muscle cars and are looking for a mom & pop car with horsepower. Buy a Norstar Caddy!
Pros: power/handling combinatioin
Cons: drivetrain noise
Advice: it's not a porsche, ferrari, etc. but it's under 35k (coupe) and can run with all but the very bestHave had vehicle for almost a year. Power and handling are amazing and both are easily modified for even better performance. Interior is dated but functional and seats are very good. Prefer this body style over all previous ones and even the 2005. Bang for the buck quotient is unbeatable and car is capable of taking on a lot of pricier sports cars from Europe and Asia. Drivetrain is noisy but it and engine are bullet proof. It is what it is-a modern muscle car with handling.
Cons: Rattles in doors, Rattles in interior panels, Sloppy Drivetrain, Pops in rear end differential, Power Steering sqeaks (one of the few items fixed by a dealer).
Advice: Know what problems to look for when test driving.Rear-end pops when turning. Drivetrain is sloppy, especially when accelerating or decelerating (in any gear)!
