    2003 Ford Mustang

    Yellow Convertible

    Pros: All of it

    Cons: Needs bigger motor

It would be the greatest car ever to me if it had a bigger engine.

    2003 Ford Mustang

Pros: It doesn't look like a teenager's car

Cons: 1. lack of power 2. twitchy handling on turnpike

This is a 2003 Mustang GT convertible, and after 7 years, I still like it. It is not particularly fast, nor does it handle all that well, but there is just something likable about it. It has been reliable across 72000 miles of driving. Other than regular maintenance, I've only replaced a clutch (and that was on warranty - pilot bearing went and they replaced whole clutch). It is slower than the Z28 I had, handles less well than my old corvette, but it keeps me from feeling like an old man when I drive it.

    2003 Ford Mustang

    I Must Have A Lemon

    Pros: seat comfort, looks

    Cons: reliability, bad performance

I bought my car new in 2003, and still have it seven years later because I couldn't afford to buy another car after. It started having problems right away. Thankfully the first problem with the front wheel was fixed under warranty. Though it was never 'like new' again. The problems kept coming, such as two replaced transmissions right after the warranty was up. It needs new brake pads every time I turn around, even though I use lifetime warranty aftermarket pads (at least they're free to replace). I've replaced the alternator, fan and motor, spark plug wires (twice), exhaust (twice) and manifolds, just to name the things off the top of my head. That said, I know lots of people with the same model mustang who have never had any problems and love their cars. A word of advice, be very careful driving in the rain.

2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Coupe

    Pros: POWER

Cons: Same interior, the manual transmission stick, Radio sound system.

Advice: Buy it if you can. It will change your life.

I went to the dealer to test drive it on my lunch break. Had my wife meet me after work so she could drive it. Bought it. Killed my first 'ricer' car on the way home. I guess he thought it was just a V6 Mustang untill he heard the wine of the super charger kick in! It is a beast from the factory, however for under $2,500 I will have about 575 horses with some simple bolt on's. The best bang for your buck period. Look out Corvettes.

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

Pros: Power baby, straight unleashed power

    Cons: leg room

Advice: Buy it, it is cheap to buy and cheap to maintain, perfect if your over the age of 25

This car is fast. I have the 5 spd with a mach 1 engine. Oh let me see, it is a great car so far, no problems, except for gas prices. I took the car onto the back roads and let it have it without the traction control on. It spins wildly, and loud throaty sound of the exhaust. Talk about getting thown back in your seat. What a grunt and as a Marine for life, this is a car to own.

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

    Pros: Performance

    Cons: leg room

    Advice: buy it

It's a blast to drive, each and every time I drive it! A porsche may be faster but the price is out of sight- I,m practical in that respect but I love to drive a hot car, I just couldn't be happier with my Mustang.

2003 Ford Mustang - GT Premium (140A) Coupe

    Pros: Stereo/Torque/Looks

    Cons: Seat belt adjustments

Advice: Buy the Extended Warranty/Interior Upgrade/Higher Model

There are good and bad cars just like there are good and bad owners, and the Mustang definitely needs a good owner. I bought a 2003 Ford Mustang GT. Overall, car handles really good and it drives fast! Didn't even realize I was going 80 mph... Sound systems totally rocks. On the flip side, quality of car a little disappointing. Within the first 3k noticed squeaking sound, it was coming from clutch. Dealer replaced serpetine belt and it fixed the problem. Now the rack and pinion is squeaking and dealer tightened up however a couple weeks later squeak is back and will have to take in for servicing for the third time. Living in Hawaii I am told car may have sat on docks for a period of time and salt air got into the system, causing some of these problems, including some rust on tail pipe. Despite these very minor problems, I really love my car and am very proud to own it.
