    2003 Ford Mustang

    I Must Have A Lemon

    Pros: seat comfort, looks

    Cons: reliability, bad performance

I bought my car new in 2003, and still have it seven years later because I couldn't afford to buy another car after. It started having problems right away. Thankfully the first problem with the front wheel was fixed under warranty. Though it was never 'like new' again. The problems kept coming, such as two replaced transmissions right after the warranty was up. It needs new brake pads every time I turn around, even though I use lifetime warranty aftermarket pads (at least they're free to replace). I've replaced the alternator, fan and motor, spark plug wires (twice), exhaust (twice) and manifolds, just to name the things off the top of my head. That said, I know lots of people with the same model mustang who have never had any problems and love their cars. A word of advice, be very careful driving in the rain.

    2003 Ford Expedition - XLT 4.6L Popular (110B) 4x2

    Pros: power fold 3rd seat

    Cons: gas consumption

    Advice: go for the XLT

Excellent vehicle. Big, smooth, comfortable, safe. Does everything I need it to do. 65,000 miles with no problems. Great for road trips - can load up the family and all thier 'stuff' - arrive at our destination still on speaking terms.

    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Deluxe (100A)

    Pros: Convertible top

    Cons: trunk space

Advice: Don't expect great gas mileage and don't expect high performance. It's a sporty luxury vehicle. Enjoy it.

Handles well, very smooth and comfortable. I use it everyday - not just on the weekends. I love driving it.

    2003 Ford Expedition - Eddie Bauer 5.4L (400B) 4x4

Pros: THE 2003 FORD EXPEDITON HAS NO QUALITY!

Cons: THE POOR QUALITY OF THE VEHICLE

Advice: DO NOT BUY A FORD EVER! CHEAPLY MADE BUT LOOK NICE

I purchased my vehicle while it was still under Factory warranty and within the 1st Six months, the Driverside window failed and had to be replaced. Shortly after that, I began to see a water leak coming from the driver side visor and it would just pour in when it rained. This problem has been worked on several times until finally I took it in to have all of the molding removed and replaced around the Sun Roof. As a result of this, there are other electrical problems with the Air-bag sensor and also the relay for the automatic door locks, reverse mirrors, interior lights and also the auto adjusting mirrors are all failing. FORD made a terrible TRUCK AND I WIL BE MOVING OVER TO GMC as soon as I can get rid of this piece of JUNK.

    2003 Ford Excursion - Limited 6.0L (431A) 4x4

Pros: The size--it is a beast!

Cons: No TV stations on entertainment system

    Advice: Buy it--get the Diesel

I love my Excursion! Bought the 2003 with the 6.0 turbodiesel. I get 23-25 mpg highway and around 18 mpg city. A truly awesome SUV. My wife is about 5'4' and she loves it as well. She is able to see the traffic nuts around her and make adjustments before the nutty DC drivers get too close. A perfect vehicle for a growing family.
