2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Coupe

Pros: Looks, seats, handling and acceleration.

Cons: Gas mileage sucks, but I will save money elsewhere to compensate

Advice: Haul azz to your closiest dealer and purchase one.

Drove it on 9/14/02 at about 3pm. Bought the car on 9/14/02 at about 3:15pm. This car is just awesome. I owned a 91 GT and a 97 Cobra Coupe before this car. I've only had the car for about 5 days. I don't plan on driving this car like the typical 17 year old idiot, though I was one about 18 years ago. Once I break this rocket in, I'll explore a little bit, but I plan on taking care of this car. I purchased this vehicle on the Z-plan from ford for $31,052. Ford then took an additional $2500 bucks off cause I actually wanted a silver one. Black worked just fine!!! Hated to get rid of the 97 Cobra, but this car is something else. If this car was made in germany, it would cost $60000 grand. If you want a performance car and want to have some money afterwards, look no further. This car rocks!!!!!

2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Coupe

    Pros: screaming power

Cons: default fuel cut-off traction control, a rear brake applied system would be better

Advice: get in line now and don't even both haggling price.

The performance of this vehicle is nothing like anything ever produced under 50 grand; maybe even 100K if you exclude the viper. $500 worth of bolt on, and you can even exceed a stock vette Z06 or viper perforance stats.

    2003 Ford Expedition - Eddie Bauer 5.4L (310B) 4x2

Pros: 3rd row fold down to the floor

    Cons: rattling

Advice: SEE MY TEST DRIVE REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY

I have owned my 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition for 2 months. My initial reaction was surprise at the quality comfort and handling. Nevertheless, upon driving along the interstate I noticed a rattling noise behind the dashboard. When I brought the vehicle in for service, a first look behind the dashboard couldn't isolate the problem. On a second visit, the windshield was pulled and resealed which resolved the dashboard noise but resulted in a far worse rattling above the sunvisors. The windshield was reseated AGAIN on a third visit to the service center, with no improvement. My complaints to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle now result in shoulder shrugs, and a request to trade out the vehicle was met with a 'sorry can't do anything for you' reply (I'm not sure how high up in the administrative chain the request went through), even when the subject of 'Lemon Law' was brought up. At this time I'm considering trading the vehicle in at a different dealership at what will be a significant financial insult to my pocket versus following through with a Lemon Law claim. BEWARE of purchasing an Expedition from FORD, and at least do a test drive at highway speed to rule out any similar windnoise problem.

    2003 Ford Expedition - Eddie Bauer 4.6L (300B) 4x2

    Pros: deluxe radio/cd/auto-volume

Cons: plastic interior appointments are hard and feel brittle, not soft

    Advice: lease it

drives/handles like a car (as from previously owned 97 model). Very quiet, darned smooth ride, yet tight; not much sway.

    2003 Ford Expedition - Eddie Bauer 5.4L (400B) 4x4

Pros: Rear folding seats, cooled seats, ride improvements

Cons: Somewhat cheaper outside trim feeling/level vs. 97-02 models

Advice: Don't be afraid to deal- I did very very well even with trade

Obviously everything is subjective, but after having 3 Explorers and an 00' EB Expedition, I must say that this vehicle is GREAT. As compared to GM prd, it is solid, fresher and NEWER vs. somewhat older style of the inside GM prd. Most new features are fantastic- cooled seats, rear folding seats etc are great! A little more power would be super, but I'll take tow power and reliability over spurts of engine power often sighted for GM products. Test drive it!

    2002 Ford Thunderbird - Premium (110A)

    Pros: Peppy engine

    Cons: Not enough head room

Advice: Do not pay too much for this vehicle.

Very peppy! Not much room for my 6'2' frame as my head touches the roof. Classy exterior with outstanding worksmanship. Fun to drive and turns alot of heads!
