Great Car
Pros: Ride/Handling
Cons: Lack of ability to manually downshift, except to low.
I've been driving since my early teens, nearly 40 years now, so I have had many cars. I don't think I have had any that I liked as much as the Fusion. I've had it for just over a year, with absolutely no complaints.

Longtime import owner impressed with his Fusion
Pros: Microsoft Sync
Cons: Headlight switch on dash, lack of a home link garage door opener button
I've owned lots of Honda cars over the past 20 years (still own an Odyssey minivan) and I've owned Mazda and Infiniti cars along the way too. American cars have not impressed me for a long time and their reliability and resale were questionable. But when it came time to replace my '01 Civic commute car, I wanted to go to a mid-size sedan and I looked at almost every vehicle in the category. The Ford Fusion is tight, smart and attractive. It's ergonomic interior design is excellent. Everything is where it should be, except for the headlight switch. I'm used to twisting a stalk on the left of the steering column but I'll get used to reaching for the dash in due time. The Fusion's Microsoft Sync system is really cool. It works great once you learn the proper voice commands. Seats are firm but comfortable. Lots of storage in console, glove box and doors. Dash gauges are attractive and easy to see. The trunk is gigantic and the back seat has plenty of leg and head room for adults. Why didn't Ford build this car sooner? Interior is more modern and useful than Accord, Camry or Altima. Fusion has lots of luxury features you won't find in other cars in this class. I think Honda and Toyota had better step up their game.

Great Car
Pros: Sync
Cons: Back seat belts - tighten too much
I love to drive my Ford Fusion. It is zippy and smooth. I have driven many cars over the last 45 years and this is one of the very best.
