2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Submitted on 4/24/2012 8:43:51 AM- Summary
- Our Fusion has been a remarkable vehicle. It's quiet, refined, comfortable and can be fun to drive as well, due to the well sorted handling dynamics. Of course, one of the main reasons we purchased the car was its fuel economy. Over the past three years, we've averaged just over 35 mpg, but we've had many tanks that have returned well past the 40mpg range. Road trips go by with more stops for the restroom and refreshments than for fuel. The car has been completely trouble free so far.

2010 Fusion Hybrid
Pros: high mpg
Cons: lack of power (I'm used to V-8)
One of my only complaints is the cloth interior on the Hybrid. It is supposed to be recycled Denim material, but it seems very delicate, not like denim. I have to small tears or cuts after only a few thousand miles. I have a (7) year old truck, that the interior still looks like new, so I'm not hard on an interior.

2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
Submitted on 7/29/2010 10:45:17 AM- Summary
Efficient, comfortable and surprisingly fun
Pros: Solid refinement.
Cons: The hybrid's batteries eliminate the fold down rear seats.
Having initially decided to purchase a BMW, we were intrigued by the press the Fusion Hybrid was receiving. We were pleasantly surprised with the drive, comfort and quality, and the promised efficiency and low emissions made us feel like it was the right thing to do. The technology and features were impressive, and fully loaded it saved us more than $10,000 over our chosen BMW. Figure in the fuel savings and the cost benefit multiplies. Our long term average is 34 mpg in LA driving, with our best tank at 39. We have not been disappointed. Supremely quiet and composed, very comfortable, with a stable and fun to toss platform, quality materials and an intuitive and comprehensive navigation and Sync system, it's a great place to spend time.
