Getting firsthand information from an actual car owner is one sure way to get an idea of car performance once it leaves the lot. Autobytel features real consumer reviews that give the unbiased experience of a car.
Pros: the ride
Cons: nothingGreat on gas. 35mpg average. Relatively comfortable for a small car. Better than average performance.
Pros: Stereo/ power locks and windows/ cruise control
Cons: cup holders
Advice: Compared to similar cars of this caliber it is the best deal for the price.Handled and drove nicely. One of the most comfortable drive I have ever had.
Pros: Price and good gas mileage
Cons: Dashboard blinking light
Advice: No adviceJust bought a new 2007 four door car with automatic transmission, sports package, ABS, and side impact airbags. The ride is OK, and the car looks good, but there are a couple of things I don't like. One is that there is a red blinknig light on the dashbboard that is supposed to discourage thieves, but cannot be disabled when the car is at home. I was told it will not drain the battery, but I doubt it. Second is the fact that the bumpers are for 2.5 mph, not 5 (which still was ridiculously low). I understand the new Government standard is 2.5 mph. I wonder why. One additional curiosity is a roof non-telecoping antenna that can be unscrewed for a carwash, but perhaps also for other reasons. Pros: manual transmission
Cons: hood problems
Advice: Either buy brand new or not at all.I don't know what I did to this car, but it had some serious problems only a year after I purchased it. My AC went out, which was costly to fix. A tire rod went out, and now my rack and pinion need to be replaced. It's only an 03. I shouldn't have to replace all the components of my car.
