2002 Ford F-250 - XLT 4x2 SD Crew Cab Short Box

    Pros: Aggressive Look/V10 power/Good Handling

Cons: Door handles feel cheap/Ford should have used AT tires.

Advice: Go for the V10, very smooth, powerful and quite.

This is a great Truck. I test drove all the competition and the Ford F250 Superduty Supercab V10 is the best overall truck. The handling is great for such a large truck. The V10 is very quite and has excellent power and torque and towing capabilities. I'm getting between 12 to 14 mpg city, not bad for this engine. This truck blows away the competition in towing. I'll never go back to a Dodge RAM!

2002 Ford F-250 - XLT 4x4 SD Crew Cab Short Box

    Pros: .style of body

    Cons: rough ride

Advice: go for crew cab and 6 speed on diesel

Truck rides rough, but all heavy trucks do. Needs a little more off stop sign accelleration (diesel), However can pull an amazing amount

2002 Ford F-250 - XLT 4x4 SD Super Cab Short Box

Pros: sits up higher than the other 4*4 pickups in the market

Cons: room in the back compared to others on the ext-cab model.

    Advice: get the bucket seats

very impressed with this truck. go with the diesel if you can. it does have a firm ride but for a heavy duty truck its still good. easy to change oil and check fluids. bucket seats are a must if you travel long distance. brand new driving alot in the city i'm getting 17+ mpg. the mirrors that telescope out are the best instead of the one's that are more conventional.

2002 Ford F-250 - XLT 4x2 SD Crew Cab Short Box

Pros: size of the interior and the 6 way power seats

Cons: My truck is perfect and sound

Advice: Go with the 4 door crew cab it's worth the small price for the extra room

I test drove this truck up and down the highway with good take off speed for a truck of its size and weight. This truck is solid and quiet. The captain seats are must on the crew cab. They are firm but comfortable. There is alot of storage space inside the cab with a good size space behind the rear seat. Ford did a great job combining the look and feel of a big truck while still making it a comfortable ride on long trips.

2002 Ford F-250 - XLT 4x4 SD Super Cab Short Box

    Pros: Fuel mileage & comfort

Cons: Bad vibration & numerous rattles in doors & windows

    Advice: Test drive a must

Mine equipped w/diesel. Has bad vibration on initial take off. FMC says this is normal. If this is normal they should make people aware of this before selling.
