Pros: Diesel engine. Cost more in intial purchase - last longer & better fuel economy
Cons: Arm rest on driver/passenger seat a bit short. Not long enough.
Advice: Buy the diesel only. Do not waste your money on the gas engine unless you drive only short distances or are really rich.Excellent. Loved the rear sensors in backing up. A bit high to get in but the running boards help.
Pros: Powerstroke Diesel
Cons: Pitch & Yaw when cornering at hwy. speed.
Advice: Do NOT fail to get the tow mirrors. They are THE BEST mirrors on the market...Wanted the diesel for economy. Was afraid the V-8 wouldn't have enough power and from experience know the V-10 gets lousy mileage. Diesel adds about $ 3,000 to resale value. Gets 16-18 hwy mpg. and guessing 15 mpg in town. It's big, safe, and handles suprisingly well. Like ALL Sport Utes, it does have a problem with pitch and yaw. We got a 2x4 and I expected it to be as stable as my 4x4 F250. It's not! But it is quiet, comfortable and easy to push down the hwy. at 70+ mph. Good acceleration at hwy. speed for passing and not as hard to drive/park in town as you might have been told. Wheelbase is exactly the same as full size Super Duty pickups.
Pros: The way it handles
Cons: That there are not seat warmers in the rear seats
Advice: Make sure you get all the features you want the first timeI have a 2000 model and I absolutly love it. Irregardless of if I am towing or not, the handling of the vehicle remains the same. It has a quite interior, can comfortable seat 8 people, and still have cargo space. I get awesome milage for a 4w drive rangeing from 14 mpg to 21 mpg, my average is about 16 since I generally have my foot in to it. Highway milage remains steady even at higher speeds. Great vehicle!
Pros: controls on the steering wheel
Advice: It's a great family vehicle and is easy to manage.Love the way it handles. Have a diesel...quiet on the interior. Avg 18 miles per gallon on the highway and 14 in town. Better than we had hoped for. Easier to park than I imagined. Love rear sensing system-helps to protect that back bumper! Very comfortable for 2 adults/3 children to travel. Lots of storage space. Love the cupholders-10 of them! Enjoy the media system for cd's...don't have the entertainment pkg. The controls on the steering wheel are great! An all around great vehicle...we are greatly enjoying ours!
Pros: The west coast mierors
Cons: the highth
Advice: buy oneThe best SUV
Pros: the power seats
Cons: the gas milage
Advice: rides nicePerfect
Pros: SIZE AND ROOMINESS, I use all 118 cu ft cargo area, roof rack and towing package.
Cons: Gas mileage
Advice: determine size and cost of operation needs firstGreat all round Utility Vehicle, lots of power, comfortable ride for making trips, heavy gauge door panels, lots of cargo capacity....carry 2 kayaks, 5 bikes, camping gear for 5 a trailer, and pulls up mountain roads.
