    2002 Ford Focus - SE (300A) Sedan

    Pros: The whole CAR

Cons: Can't go faster that 110mph. Stupid Electronics.

    Advice: Just buy it

It's very cool litle car, it's fast and handles very good, specialy on icy roads. Cruise control is a cool thing togeather with 5-speed. You see all Neons and Cavaliers in you mirrors.

    2002 Ford Focus - ZTS (500A) Sedan

    Pros: The Stability/Traction control

Cons: The cheap plastics and seat fabrics

Advice: Like most American cars this is one to lease not buy

The rental car interior and horrible styling ruin what are excellent driving dynamics. The shifter, shift linkage, and clutch simply aren't up to par with the meaty steering. Ford needs to copy the quality of the materials in the competeing VW Jetta/Golf, and they would make the best small car in the world. If Mazda's engineers were allowed this platform for the next generation Protege they would be well on the way to a great car. For now the Focus is hobbled by corporate cost cutting and a cartoon-like styling. The great stength of the car is safety. However, I had to order mine, because Ford Dealers won't order their cars with side airbags and without that stupid rear spoiler. Hasn't anyone told them that excessive rear downforce is not good on a front-drive car.

    2002 Ford Focus - SE (400A) Wagon

    Pros: Steering and suspension

    Cons: seatbelts

Advice: Buy one ,you will not be dissapointed.

The apearance is stuning. being in the automotive buisness for 28 years i understand quality inovative workmanship. The handleling is precise and feels like a glove on the road. I just purchased one today and am very satisfied. Thank you Ford Motor Co. for this new quality automobile. poquosonduck@ aol.com Michael Duckett Asst Mgr Brake king Inc. 5969 Jefferson Ave Newport News , Va 23605 My first initial response when driving this new vehicle was the tight and very responsive steering capabilites. The 15 inch alloy wheels and quality Goodyear tires complement the solid feeling of the road. The large front, side and rear windows provide a pleasing full view that adds to the driving exspiriance. The 16 valve Zetec 2.0L engine with 130 available horsepower provides very adequate acceleration and combined with the tight comfortable responsive steering makes you feel like you spent alot more.

    2002 Ford Focus - ZTS (500A) Sedan

Pros: The sporty ride at a low price....

Cons: There is no tape deck

Advice: Go for the Zetec engine

The Focus is a great little 'Sporty' car for someone on a budget, or someone who wants a fun little car for long commutes. The other nice part is, there are many after market mods that give you lots of options.

    2002 Ford Focus - ZTW (420A) Wagon

    Pros: Handling

Cons: Could use a bit more power going up hills here in Atlanta

Advice: Test drive in both traffic and open road conditions.

Just took delivery and have less than 1500 miles. Atlanta traffic was killing my 99 Grand Marquis and went to a more practical car. Best move I have made. Very nimble, quick in and out of traffic. Brakes very solid.

    2002 Ford Focus - SE (400A) Wagon

    Pros: safety record

Cons: size of the rear seat

Advice: It claims to get 32 freeway miles per gallon. It's realy about 25.

The focus wagon handles well however it is very light and has trouble in the wind. Also it only seats five if the ones in the back seat are very, very, small.
