How can Autobytel.com save me money?

Helping you become a knowledgeable shopper is one way we help you save money. Our research section provides car buying guides, money saving tips, and financial calculators including lease vs. own comparisons. We also provide detail vehicle information including Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Pricing and Invoice Pricing. You can also save by using our dealer referral service. Simply, select the make, model, and options you're interested in and click "Get Pricing." We will send off your completed Purchase Request form to a dealer in your area who will be willing to assist you with your vehicle purchase. A local dealership will contact you to provide you with more details.

Does submitting a Purchase Request obligate me to purchase or lease a vehicle?

No. Submitting a Purchase Request does not obligate you to purchase or lease a vehicle.

Can I cancel a Purchase Request after it is submitted?

Yes. Our service depends on providing serious buyers to dealers. If your situation changes and you are no longer interested in being contacted by the referred dealer, please let us know by contacting customer service consumercare@autobytel.com. You may also cancel your Purchase Request by clicking on the “Cancel Request” button on the confirmation email you may receive from us confirming the submission of your Purchase Request. We'll forward the information on to the referred dealership and cancel your Purchase Request. However, given the promptness with which we process Purchase Requests, it is possible that you may still be contacted by a referred dealer before the dealer is notified of your request to cancel your Purchase Request.

Yes. Visiting a dealer prior to submitting a Purchase Request is no problem.

How do you provide a positive experience for customers?

Providing a great shopping experience for customers is the core part of our service. We are always improving our website by adding features and tools. What if I am not contacted by the dealer after one business day of submitting a Purchase Request?

Normally the referred dealers are very diligent about quickly contacting interested shoppers. However, if you are not contacted after one business day, contact consumercare@autobytel.com and we will send a reminder to the dealer on your behalf.

How can you help me with the ownership of my vehicle?

One of the many free services we provide is MyGarage®. MyGarage® simplifies ownership by sending vehicle specific service reminders and recall notices. How can I stop receiving emails?

With every communication we send, there is a link at the bottom of the email that allows you to change your communications settings. To opt out of a category of email from us, click on the remove link at the bottom of the email. Alternatively, you may email Customer Service at consumercare@autobytel.com with the word "Remove" in the subject line, and we will remove you from all further email marketing communication within five (5) business days. You may also opt-out at any time by contacting Customer Service at consumercare@autobytel.com or by calling Customer Service at the telephone number provided below. In addition, you may also sign into your MyGarage® account and select Communication Preferences. By doing this, you can customize the types of email communications you receive. If for any reasons you are unable to modify your communication preferences simply email Customer Service at consumercare@autobytel.com with your request or call Customer Service at the telephone number provided below.
