2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - SLT/Laramie 4x2 Quad Cab Short Box
This is an incredible truck. I have put over 105,000 miles on it and she still runs great as she did off the lot. Talk about tough - I ran it off the freeway and she came out with little damage.

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - SLT/Laramie 4x4 Quad Cab Long Box
Pros: I love the power
Cons: the interior
Advice: its great you should have no worries my dad has the same one with just a little less miles and it runs like a top too.I have 70k on my 2003 and have no problums and never have. Its great to hunt in and go out 4x4ing.
2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - SLT/Laramie 4x4 Regular Cab Short Box
Cons: no head rests for rear passengers.
Advice: the HEMI is worth the extra cost.I loved the power of the 5.7 HEMI, and the leather interior is comfy, but sporty. I loved the location of thecontrols, and the handles on the doors. The only thing I see is that the seats are a little bit smaller than the 97 I had.
2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - ST 4x2 Regular Cab Short Box
Pros: the styling
Cons: early engine performance
Advice: buy it...maybe get the 8 cylider model thoughthis truck has got to be the best ive test driven. budget concious as i am, i opted for the work special package which is the lowest version you can get. I am totally satisfied with this machine. It has a remarkably sleek style that is second to none. It is comfortable and it remains a presence on the road no matter what truck i come up against. Although slow to climb hills in fourth or fifth gear im certain this will improve after the break in period. I love this truck...it is a vision to behold no matter what model you choose. Bravo to Dodge for bringing suck an agressive looking truck to market..hands down the best looking truck on the road. Chevy and Ford..see you on the road...(in my rearview mirror).
2003 Dodge Ram 1500 - SLT/Laramie 4x4 Regular Cab Long Box
Pros: Hemi !!!!! 345 HP
Cons: Dealers knew less than I did about this truck and push the 5.9L
Advice: Easy. I got a fully loaded Laramie / Quad with the Hemi for $30Just ordered the 2003 Ram Quad Laramie with the 5.7L Hemi. Absolutely nothing in it's class is even close. I looked at the Fords and Tundras and quickly dismissed them as junky. The Silverado was a big disappointment to a GM fan. This truck is in every way superior to the others with features the others can't touch. If you do the Laramie package, like I did, it includes all the 'Off Road' features except Anti-Spin. I added that and don't have the sticker I didn't care for. The 7 / 70 power train warantee is a big plus, but the Hemi is what made it. 345 HP with 375 ft lbs. GVWR of 14,000 lbs only second to a 3/4 ton diesel. Style in and out makes this the best, by far, in this class.
