    2005 Dodge Durango

    05 DURANGO LTD

    Pros: AWD

    Cons: gas milage

Have had no problems. Hemi engine gives it power, AWD will go anywhere. Rides better than many cars I have had.

    2005 Dodge Durango

    Great choice!

    Pros: roomy

    Cons: gas mileage

We love our Durango. Our only complaint is the gas mileage. It gets around 16.9 mpg and up to 18 mpg on the highway. It also requires high octane gas for the Hemi. It is very roomy, comfortable and quite stylish!

    2005 Dodge Durango - SLT 4x4

Pros: Hemi; ride quality; room for family of five; Canadian model has an Alpine audio system

Cons: Cheap Interior door trim & dash materials

Advice: Go with HEMI option and AWD; heated seats; caution about fuel mileage

Just moved up from a 2002 Durango SLT Plus and this 2006 Hemi Adventurer is superior in every way. Hemi engine is smooth and powerful; roomy interior; excellent leather seats & audio system; quiet cabin. AWD with stability program works well in snow and ice; ride is excellent and great handling vehicle; heavy SUV but once rolling the Hemi performs but with only satisfactory fuel mileage. No major gripes whatsoever, except cheap interior trim materials. With big incentives and 1.8% lease interest rate, a steal of a deal for a very capable SUV.

    2005 Dodge Durango - Limited 4x4

Pros: The performance and comfort of this vehicle is great.

Cons: The mini van on steroids exterior look.

Advice: Get the limited but expect to pay at the pump.

I was not interested in the new body style of the Durango but my wife wanted to test drive one. Once I drove the 5.7 liter Hemi and checked out the interior of the limited it was the choice for me.

    2005 Dodge Durango - Limited 4x4

    Pros: The HEMI power

    Cons: Rear cargo area floor

Advice: If you are looking saving gas

Excelent SUV, I test drove many others before I purchased this one, and I can tell you, was the right thing to do, the mileage is fine, not high, but if you want the fun of the HEMI you have to pay for it!! I'm considering to install a high performance exhaust system, this will increase the response at low rpm. Good DVD and stereo system, very convinient for long trip with kids.!

    2005 Dodge Durango - ST 4x2

Pros: The day they are sold

    Cons: Gas mileage

    Advice: Run fast

This may be the worst vehicle I have ever purchased! I head a small goverment agency and we purchased 4 of these. Gas mileage is 7-10 mpg. Repair cost are out of sight, just keeping them running is a full time job.
