The 2013 Dodge Dart has been making slow but steady headway in the compact segment this year, raising its sales volume for the past five months in a row and, in April, finally overtaking the 2013 Mazda Mazda3 in the monthly standings. Dodge’s Italian-American sedan now has its sights set on catching up to the brand-new 2013 Nissan Sentra, bolstered by three new feature bundles specifically tailored to the preferences of more buyers.

Said Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge Brand: "These new Dodge Dart Special Edition packages show how we're listening to our customers. Since we launched the all-new Dart last June, we've been able to see how customers are ordering their Darts, and as a result, we have simplified our offerings to meet their requests—allowing us to offer them an even better value in the process."

All are available at dealerships now.

2013 Dodge Dart SXT Special Edition

The starting point here is the Special Edition package for the 2013 Dodge Dart SXT. Kitted out with standard air conditioning, remote keyless entry, 17-inch wheels, and power locks, windows and outside mirrors, the SXT opens at $18,590, with the new upgrade bundle priced at $595 and including:

  • An exclusive black grille
  • Premium illumination, with dark-tinted projector headlamps, projector fog lamps and LED tail lamps
  • Integrated dual exhaust
  • Uconnect Voice Command with Bluetooth technology
  • A leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio controls
  • Remote start (on models with an automatic transmission)
  • A 12-volt power outlet and USB port
  • Active grille shutters
  • Underbody enhancements for improved aerodynamics
  • An auto-dimming rearview mirror with integrated microphone

For an additional dash of style, the 2013 Dodge Dart SXT Special Edition can be further spiced up with a Rallye appearance package that delivers a model-specific black front fascia, Hyper Black 17-inch aluminum wheels and a distinctive “Rallye” badge.

2013 Dodge Dart Limited Special Edition

This one is for customers looking for luxury, since it builds on the foundation of the range-topping 2013 Dodge Dart Limited trim. That model, featuring an MSRP of $19,995, showcases bright exterior accents and a sumptuous, high-tech cabin with an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen, reconfigurable 7-inch TFT instrument display, soft-touch interior surfaces, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with power lumbar support, ambient LED lighting, etc., etc.

To all that, the Special Edition package adds finishing touches like dual-zone automatic climate control, a powered sunroof, and Nappa leather seating with heat for the driver and front passenger; infotainment enhancements such as Garmin navigation technology, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio and Sirius/XM Travel Link; and lifestyle enhancers including remote start and a universal garage opener. The MSRP for the package adds $1,810 to the bottom line.
