While folks are waiting for the 2015 versions to travel from the New York International Auto Show to U.S. dealerships later this year, the 2014 Dodge Charger—and Challenger—are offering a unique opportunity for shoppers to double their fun right now.
That’s courtesy of the new “Double-Up” lease program for the Dodge performance duo, both of which are seeing next-gen versions debut in the Big Apple this week. Under the terms of the program, customers can lease most models of the 2014 Dodge Charger or Challenger for 12 months, then move into a 2015 edition for a further 36 months—with the exact same monthly terms and no additional down payment necessary. Excluded are the 2014 Dodge Charger SE and SRT, as well as the Challenger SRT, and folks are urged to contact their local Dodge dealerships for details. (Also, drivers who want to purchase their 2015 Dodge Charger or Challenger outright will receive $1,000 in incentives to help defray costs.)
The party line from Tim Kuniskis, Dodge Brand president and CEO: “If you have your eye on a new Challenger or Charger, there’s no need to wait for the new models to arrive. The Dodge Double-Up program lets you drive today’s Charger or Challenger and trade to the 2015 with no increase in payment. This is our way of thanking our loyal Charger and Challenger customers, and extending this offer to any new customers longing to get into one of these iconic muscle cars.”
And be sure to stay tuned to Autobytel.com for ongoing coverage of the 2014 New York Auto Show, including the debuts of the 2015 Dodge Charger and Challenger.
