The Dodge Charger is a four door five passenger full size sedan that is offered in everything from fuel efficient V6 powered models to the tire shedding 470 HP Hemi powered SRT8.  The entry level Dodge Charger SE is powered by a Pentastar 3.6 Liter V6 that produces 292 HP and 260 lb-ft of torque being channeled through an AutoStick 5 speed gearbox, good for an estimated 18 MPG in the city and as much as 27 MPG on the highway. The Charger SE also comes from the factory with premium cloth seating, a 4.3 inch touch screen Uconnect display as well as a set of 17 inch rims starting at $25,495.

The next level of Charger is the $28,495 SXT that pairs the Pentastar with an 8-speed automatic E Shifter that bring fuel economy up to 19 MPG around town and 31 MPG at speed.  The SXT also comes equipped with Bluetooth handsfree connectivity, a leather wrapped steering wheel and Sirius XM Satellite radio.

The Dodge Charger R/T gets upgraded to a 5.7 Liter Hemi V8 that pumps out 370 HP and 395 lb-ft of torque being channeled through a 5 speed AutoStick that gets an estimated 16 MPG in the city and up to 25 MPG on the highway.  For $29,995 the R/T gets the larger Uconnect 8.4 inch touch screen infotainment display and rides on a set of 18 inch rims.

The Dodge Charger SXT Plus sells for $30,495 and pairs the 3.6 Liter V6 with the gas saving 8 speed automatic E Shifter and gets an estimated 19 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway; gets upgraded with chrome 18 rims and luxurious Nappa Leather upholstery.  Just like the SXT Plus, the Dodge Charger R/T Plus gets a significant amount of bling to go with the 5.7 Liter Hemi V8/5 speed AutoStick combination for $31,995.

The Dodge Charger R/T Road & Track gets a different rear gear from standard Chargers for better acceleration and comes upgraded with a set of leather sport buckets complete with suede inserts, steering wheel mounted paddle shifters, a color matching rear spoiler and a set of 20 inch SRT style chrome wheels starting at $33,995.  The $35,995 Dodge Charger R/T Max gets a premium nine speaker stereo complete with subwoofer and 20 inch chrome rollers.

The top of the line Dodge Charger SRT8 is one of Mopar’s finest examples of modern muscle.  Powered by a 6.4 Liter Hemi V8 that produces a maximum output of 470 HP and 470 lb-ft of torque, the SRT8 can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in under 4 seconds, run twelve’s in the quarter mile and keep on going to a 175 MPH top speed while getting an estimated 14 MPG in the city and up to 23 MPG when terrorizing the highway.  The SRT8 separates itself from lesser Chargers with an aggressive SRT design front end and badging as well as a set of 20 inch SRT Design wrapped in sticky high performance rubber housing a set of exotic Italian Brembo brake calipers and two mode adaptive dampening, while the interior gets eavily bolstered sport buckets wearing SRT embroidery and the Uconnect 8.4 inch touch screen that controls everything form the 19 speaker Harman Kardon stereo to the performance timers and G-Force display starting at $46,825.

A lsit of cars similar to the Charger includes the 2012 Chrysler 300, 2012 Ford Taurus and 2012 Nissan Maxima.
