Dallas may as well rename itself “Dodge City” on November 1, as that’s when the Dodge brand’s current hi-po lineup—including the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats, as well as the Viper—along with the legendary band Motley Crüe and Richard Rawlings, of Gas Monkey Garage and the Discovery Channel’s “Fast N’ Loud” program, will invade the city for an unprecedented celebration of brand synergies.

The basics are these:

• Rawlings, a current Dodge pitchman, is opening a new Dallas concert venue called “Gas Monkey Live.”
• To provide support, drivers of any Charger, Challenger or Viper, from any year, are invited to show off their rides at a November 1 Dodge centennial celebration at the new venue.
• Said celebration will be highlighted by a live performance from Motley Crüe, as part of the band’s Dodge-sponsored final tour.

A factory-backed field of Dodge products also will be on display and—in the case of the Hellcats—will be available for ride-along "thrill drives" with professional pilots. Those rides should be plenty thrilling, too, since the 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger Hellcats rely on a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 that can produce 707 hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. In fact, the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the fastest, most powerful production muscle car in the world, while the Charger Hellcat holds that position in the sedan rankings.

And while they won’t be drivable, a further assortment of other 2015 Dodge Challenger, Charger and Viper models will be on hand for attendees to check out.
