love this ride and power. even though it's more than can be used legally on the open road. just the point of having it.. Makes me feel 18 again. added some after market 1 of a kind mopar graphics, 22 chrome wheels, flowmasters.. gotta have the sound as good as the look, and a cold air intake for more hrsp. will have it a long long time... my retirement car!
Pros: Looks, ride & power.
Cons: No spare tire. It's hard to write a review on this car. It's all been said already. The power is more than you can ever use off track. Ride & comfort are great. Mileage 20% higher than EPA figures. Turns heads where ever you go. People actually take pictures of the car on the highway! People who don't even know what it is love it. But best of all I love it. Before buying the SRT8, I haven't loved just going out for a drive for a very long time.
Pros: Classic look
Cons: quite exhaustMy fully loaded 2009 Challenger R/T with 6-speed with trac pak option is an amazing car. It feels like a mix of hi performance and luxury. Has the touch screen nav and My Gig stereo, great design.
Cons: 400 extra lbs of weightExcept for the extra 400 lbs over the camero and a little slower E.T.'S this is absulutely the best car of the two.
Cons: read review
Advice: read my review2009 Dodge Challenger, the car is great all around except for one thing. They are having major problems with windsheild wiper motors that are defective. And they won't have this part available until April 14, 2009. How do you make a car and have no parts available for it. Major turn off. Other than that the car is fantastic. Dodge needs to step up their service it sucks. This is coming from someone who owns one.
Pros: Power, performance, great looks & unbelievable attention you receive where ever you go.
Cons: For the money I think it should include automatic climate control, back up sensors & a spare tire!
Advice: You only live once ... buy it.If you grew up during the late 50's to the early 70's, you will fall in love with this car. It's like a time machine back to when we liked our cars big & bad & made no appologies for the excessive power, noise, fun & plain good looks these cars had. However, something happened to the Challenger in that trip back in the time machine. It not only has a kick ass motor, but now it has real brakes, a real suspension & a true quality our early muscel cars never had, and, it looks a lot better to boot. This beast will not only push you back into your seat, but when you have to turn or stop, it feels as if it's actually attached to the road. It's a car no one 'needs', but you will enjoy this toy like no other you can buy for under $100,000.00 ... plus, you will feel 30 years younger every time you fire this beast up.
